  • Girl, I am with you. I was in the Army (where I gained the first 30 lbs of my weight). I am 5'2" and got to a whopping 200 lbs myself. No excuses now. I AM SO WITH YOU!!!
  • No you are not the only one. Lots of women have the same problem. Something about those lovely kids our bladders just don't like. Wear a panty liner, and look forward to not having to do a whole lot of jumping jacks in the P90X workouts. (Friendly tip: you DEFINITELY will want a liner for plyometrics!) Have fun…
  • Ok, you are my new hero. My starting weight was 200. My goal weight is 118. I've been wondering if I can, if I should, how I will look at 118 as a woman instead of a girl...and now I know. My goal is perfect. Thanks for the inspiration and HUGE KUDOS on your amazing success!!!
  • Hi! Feel free to add me. I'm in the same boat as you...I did good with pregnancy weight gain. It was the post-baby weight that I'm trying to lose! Of course, the baby in question is now 2 so it's past time I got off my tush to do this. :blushing: Best wishes in your journey!
  • I take that back. I ate 802 calories for lunch. There should be an intervention!!!
  • Mine is open...don't judge me by my Friday nights  I am up & down but for the most part I behave myself. Feel free to add me.
  • Hi! Welcome to MFP. I've been here not quite a month and I'm addicted! lol It's an invaluable tool, and I'm thrilled at what I'm learning. Good luck on reaching your goals! :flowerforyou:
  • I buy vanilla flavored Body Fortress (u can get it at Target or Walmart) and use it as creamer in my coffee every morning. It's 140 calories & 26g protein. Regardless of what brand you buy, make sure you are getting whey protein - it is the best.
  • OMG, that's what I just did!!! lol I was starving at lunch and just could NOT stop eating!!! I took in like 660 calories at lunch time and still wanted more. So, I went and hopped on the treadmill for a 30 min Run/Walk, then followed it up with Tae Bo. I thought I was gonna need an ambulance to get me out of the room, but…
  • Feel free to add me, I'm a struggler too. =)
  • I'm there with ya! I was starving today, but not physically starving. I was mentally starving. I wanted sweets, and I felt rebellious about it. I felt like stomping my foot and saying "I WANT IT!!!" I did indulge just a little, but I got back on track. You can't be perfect all the time, you'll go crazy. Make sure you get…
  • I don't know, you can try. I'd do it using the doubles routine set by P90X. As for me, I don't have the energy for anything else after I do P90X. You'd have to increase some calories to help keep your energy up. I'm sure it can be done. Listen to your body and be careful not to injure yourself! Best of luck!
  • Hi! I'm pretty new on here too. Two weeks for me. I can relate, I'm a chocoholic, and I love fast food. But the longer I'm away from it, the less appealing it's becoming (although I still sneak some chocolate and fast food in). I had Sonic last night & thought I was gonna be sick afterwards. So - not doing that again! lol…
  • Way to go! You look awesome!
  • If there is a running store like Fleet Feet anywhere near you, you should definitely go! I drove over 2 hours to get to the nearest Fleet Feet and it was well worth the effort. I had shin splints too, and my new shoes made all the difference, plus now I know what to look for in running shoes.
  • That's awesome! Way to go!!!
  • You know, sometimes you just have those days. But you did SOMETHING so you get credit for it. Don't beat yourself up over it. Do not get bummed out and lose your drive over an "off" day or two. Power walking is tough, anyway. As for the Easter candy....well, try to be strong. ;)
  • Hi! I've been on here a week, and this site is awesome! I've lost 12 lbs so far (not in the last week of course, I started before that) But this site is REALLY helpful. I log in every time I eat to see what the damage is. ;) Feel free to add me as a friend. Good luck!
  • It sounds like you're doing it right. Pilates is really good too. Mostly though, it will just take time. When we lose a lot of weight, it takes a while for that skin to shrink back up. Don't give up, though. It will happen!

  • I can see me doing the cha-cha while vacuuming and even wearing ankle weights while sweeping. But if I had to look forward to jogging in place while doing dishes, I'd avoid dishes even more than I already do. Then when it couldn't be avoided any longer, I'd break them all while jogging with soapy hands! Interesting ideas,…
