  • I also want to lose 25lbs by my birthday 4/24. I hope that we can motivate each other!
  • so much motivation & inspiration here!:flowerforyou: I think the naked dance in the bathroom mirror is what keeps me motivated:tongue: I like the fact that I get closer to my "ideal" body everytime I eat clean/ have a really intense workout... For me it's sooooo worth the extra effort. I guess it all comes down to how…
  • "Everyone should have an invite...we have a group forum..yaayyyy..i listed kristyn as a moderator as well...thanks kristyn!!!! " Okay, I don't wanna sound really stupid but how does the new group thing work? I accepted the group invite, but didn't notice any other changes?? I saw someone say that it works just like on…
  • Hi all! I am also a working mommy of a 2.5 year old and almost 1yo boys. I am currently trying to maintain my goal weight within a five pound range, which is a little bit harder than losing, I think. I only have issues with my milk supply when I don't eat enough calories or I don't pump often enough during the workday. As…
  • :flowerforyou: Hi. How does this group work?
  • Happy Monday Mommies! 10/31-138.4 11/7- 136.2 11/14- 11/21- 11/28- 11/30- Total loss- 2.2 lbs Becca & Bhurley, my youngest turns one November 20 so we'll all be celebrating around the same time. • My original goal (after having two kiddos) was to get back into a size 6. Somehow that goal dropped to a roomy size 4, but when I got to size 4 I realized that they were too loose & I can actually wear size 2s. NEVER in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine I'd be able to get down so low after having 2 kids. It took almost…
  • I am currently breastfeeding my baby that is almost a year old & BF'd my oldest until he weaned himself at 14 months old. I pump every two-three hours while at work & BF exclusively whenever I'm at home & when he wakes up in the middle of the night(STILL!). I never had to use Fenugreek with this child, but I used it…
  • I'm definitely curious about this method as well. Sounds very interesting! Keep us posted on how it's working, please:flowerforyou: "It's just something I'm trying. For a while I was thinking I might have a thyroid condition because I had all of the symptoms - body temp of lower than 97.6 is supposed to indicate a thyroid…
  • Great discussion questions!:flowerforyou: - what kind of build are you? (small, medium, large) i think that I am medium build, athletic type - how much do you currently weigh and what size pants on average do you wear? i currently weight 136 and wear a roomy size 4 or a snug size 2, depending on the brand - what is your…
  • ***Do you eat back your exercise calories? Not exactly. ***Also, how much do you eat total and how many calories do you burn on average per day? I eat ~2100 calories Mon-Fri. MFP setting at 1/2lb per week = 1800calories for me & I get a minimum of 300 calories burned M-F so that I will always be able to eat at least…
  • I weigh myself every morning first thing after pee. I log the weight if it is a loss, but don't record gains unless it has been greater than 2-3 days. Weighing myself every day works for me, but I understand it's not for everyone. I like to see a general trend downward. As long as that is true, I know that what I'm doing…
  • THIS WEEK’S POLL: WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE “UNDER 200 CALORIE” SNACKS? I hope everyone had a great Halloween! I don't let more than about 2 hours pass without eating, so snacks are an absolute necessity for me. Snacking is great b/c you never allow yourself to get so hungry that you'll overeat. I try to eat snacks/meals…
  • I'd love to be a part of this! I am a mommy of two small boys, 18 months apart. I am in the US Navy & will be leaving for a ship in Japan next month. I will be very active until then though.
  • Happy November Mommies!! I think this will be a great month for all of us. Three pounds is a very manageable goal. We are ALL able to use some moderation for Thanksgiving to maintain that loss. I am happy to see that you are still with us, Latoya:flowerforyou: My plan is to do better on the weekends this month. When the…
  • Hi Mommies! I can't wait to be 3 lbs lighter for Thanksgiving. Let's get this weight loss started! We can ALL do this! 10/31-138.4 11/7- 11/14- 11/21- 11/28- 11/30- Total loss-
  • Happy Monday Mummies! I hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween! Latoya, I am very sad that you will not be continuing in the Thanksgiving Challenge, but I respect your decision. I know that you are doing what will help you to succeed & we all support you 100%. Everyone is putting up some great numbers for this challenge,…
  • I have lost about 45 pounds since joining MFP(plus 20 before from pregnancy), and I don't have saggy skin issues anywhere but my belly. I've been focusing on toning a lot more now that I am at my goal weight. THAT is what has really helped my belly to look less saggy. I feel like I may never have a flat 6pack abs stomach,…
  • I am 5'4" 30yo and my goal weight is between 125-135. I'm still trying to figure out what will look best on my medium/athletic frame. I got down to a low of 133 about a month ago & thought I looked too thin/lost too many curves. I am currently about 138, and I feel very comfortable with my size (size 2 in most brands,…
  • I just weighed in at 138.9lbs today. My goal is to maintain my weight at 130-135lbs. I put down 130 so that I will have some wiggle room for the holidays:wink: This week, I did pretty much the same workouts that I always do: Navy group workouts M/W/F with some strength training, stairmaster & elliptical at home. I try to…
  • Hi Everyone! I just wanted to make sure I had this saved on my list for the weigh-in tomorrow:wink: My least favorite exercise is weight-lifting. I always feel super awkward when I'm doing it in the gym. I did that today, so I hope it doesn't make my weigh-in tomorrow higher. For the last couple of weeks, I have been…
  • Happy Hump Day all! I hope it has been a great week for everyone so far. Those crunches/hydrants have been difficult for me to do everyday. I've noticed when I do more crunches that my belly sticks out more. Does anyone else have that happen?:ohwell: I noticed that my stomach feels harder when I touch it though, so I guess…
  • Great idea! Saving this for later:flowerforyou:
  • I'm always in for some additional mommy motivation. Thanks for doing this again Latoya!:flowerforyou:
  • My husband is very supportive. My two little ones aren't old enough to understand anything other than mommy is working out on the elliptical while they want to be held. It was a real adjustment for me to be able to workout over the cries of protest:ohwell: After my first son, my husband continued to eat junk food & do his…
  • Before- Pizza:love: Now that I'm eating healthier... spaghetti w/ lean turkey & whole grain linguini

  • I had the same issue when I changed over to a more accurate scale.. It sucks, but you kind of have to go with the more accurate number. I updated my numbers right away to motivate me to lose the weight difference. It's a mental setback, but the good news is that you DID actually lose the 15 lbs! Celebrate your victory &…
  • Kristyn, I usually only log losses on Fridays/Saturdays, but that's probably only because I don't really lose very much after my weekend of indulgences:blushing: I think it's more motivating for our MFP friends to see us post bigger losses, but you should probably do whatever is most motivating for you. Personally, I like…
  • I aim for 2200 calories every day, but I eat slightly less if I am gonna skip my workout(I aim for a 400+ calorie burn most days). I am also a nursing mommy, so I eat more than MFP recommends(1800).
