I have problems with my arches so I got some Brooks specifically for that purpose. They fit like a glove and are very light. They have a double elastic band in the arch that keeps it supported which is what I need. And they were only like $90.

I make myself a protein smoothie every morning with tofu and greek yogurt (fruit and stuff too haha). Almost 20 g protein for 300 ish cals (depending on what fruit you use).

Pills won't fix a gall bladder...so no worries on that! They may try to give you what they called a litocaine cocktail which would get rid of the pain. Word of warning though, it is the nastiest liquid I've ever had! I don't think it was the protein in the eggs but rather the sulfer that set it off.

For me, the gall bladder issues were ususally made worse by eggs. As counter-intuitive as it may seem, I find the best wake up when I didn't sleep well is to go to the gym. It gives me a good start, even when I'm tired. I have also learned I cannot have any caffiene after noon or I won't sleep.

I used to have similar symptoms before I was diagnosed with reflux. Also had some of the same problems just prior to needing my gall bladder taken out. I'd see a doctor.

A lot of places will let you order off the kids menu if you ask. I did yesterday at a BBQ place. I did check the cals before I went though, and had a second option in mind, just in case they didn't let me.

When I feel less than motivated, I always say to myself, "A year from now, I will wish I had started yesterday" or "I'm not at the finish liine yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday". Sounds cliche but I find it helps.

Special K Chocolatey Delight Cereal---so good and satisfies my carb/chocolate craving in 160 calories (with milk) :) I love spaghetti with homemade sauce, especially with spaghetti squash instead of pasta. You can eat a TON of that with little guilt :)

I go wherever, I just look up the calories online before I go. Most places have that info available. Then I pick what I want so I know how many calories I need to plan for.
