Your apprehension doesn't surprise me. Just want to make this site work for me and my MFP friends.

Weekends are my downfall also but I say 5 good days outnumber 2 bad.

I would also recommend trying bodybuilding.com it focuses more on building muscle while using this site as an excellent resource for tacking foods and calories. That's what I have been doing.

Circuit training my be more applicable if you are doing routines with brief rests between.

Two steps forward..one step back... its still all progress. Just gotta keep moving forward. I'm wishing all the luck in the world for you.

When I was focusing heavily on my abs and taking a "core" class two times a week I found that I was rarely hungry. I chalked it up to the muscle developement and my abs getting tighter.

Good luck and I know you will get there.

A HRM would probably be your best bet although I don't use one. Weight/Strength training calories would be based on intensity, duration, amount of weight, rest periods, etc. This would be very hard to set a value which would be representative of everyone. Just my point of view but if its liquid (not dairy) then it has some content of water. The problem is what else is in that drink. I can really see the results

My advice would be that the cost doesn't always equal quality. That being said, here in Indianapolis there are several gyms well equipped in the $20 a month range (even the local Golds Gym). There are some more expensive ones that offer bball, racquetball, tennis, etc. in the $100 dollar range. I use to belong to the more…

Let me say thank you for him, and I'm sure there is one on the way from him. We (MEN) may be slow but not stupid. He saw a good thing when he met you and I know its not his intention to let it go! P.S. Let me get off of this thread before the fellas kick me *kitten* for being a sellout! I'm Out!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like now you have vented with us you need to sit down and TALK (not yell) with him. The problem is once we start cycles and habits they become the norm and easily taken for granted. For example: Do you randomly go to him and say "Thank you for going to work Today". Also, let someone else wash the dishes or wash/fold…

I don't personally see any problem in this. 24 hours is 24 hours no matter where you start the clock. The problem I see is that the application tracks 24 hours as from 12:00 to 12:00. If you did this often there may be the tendency to lose track. The other down fall is that trying to make up for a bad day you may not get…
