Great source of information for weight training. I use that site all the time. The title scares some away but its not for just for steroid consuming Hulks. Also you can see some amazing transformations which are really inspiring!

I hate the person on the phone who wants you to hear there conversation by being loud and that fake laugh! Check that. I hate this at the grocery store, the office, public transportation, laundry mat, etc..

If I miss a workout I get anxious. If I miss two in a row I start panicking.

Strength training calories are variable based on the effort of the individual. MFP will give you minor credit under cardio. I wore a heart rate monitor once during one of my weight training sessions and I was 500+ calories after 40 minutes. Its all about how hard you are working.

Try changing up your workout routine. The body is amazing and it will adapt to the same routine overtime. I try to change up every 4 to six weeks. Also make sure you keep your metabolism up by avoiding the "starvation" mode.

It sounds backwards but it does work. Now that being said its the thing I struggle with the most. When I concentrate on spacing my meals out (~6) and with relatively equal proportions I find myself always hungry (increased metabolism) but the weight starts to trend down. They only want to see you happy. Many people find joy in eating but because we are all different it may have negative effects (Gaining massive weight) on some of us. Next time you are around them, invite them to go for a run/walk or go to a gym with you to share some of your joy.

When in doubt I always select the aveaege to the worst which assures me at the end of the day I'm close to my calorie count. I've yet to hit that 1200 exactly :smile:

Your strategy is sound but the 1000 calories seems kinda low. Also remember you are what you eat so just eating whatever is never a good idea. I'm talking form experience because I still have my weaknesses (Beer and Fries).

Make sure you are getting enough protein . I also add glutamine which helps me out. Be careful of over-training and remember rest is as important as the exercise.
