If you want to bulk you shoud eat your weight in pounds x 20 = number of calories. you should eat 40 % protein 40 % fat and 20 % carbs. Protein converts into carbs but not carbs into protein. the body does not like to do it , its not efficient (quote from Leroy Colbert ) but if it needs the energy it will.

i actually put this diet in my diary and it scores 500g of protein...i know it sounds crazy but i was bulking like crazy and gaining strenght in the gym.
