Oh, so you think I should up my calories? I am on 1400 & lead a very active lifestyle. I play sport 4 days a week
-
Yes, she did because all the test came back normal,.She says I'm not having enough carbs, but my carb count is always above what MFP says it should be. I'm totally confused
-
Yes, in a way it is good news, but might have been better if they found something so I knew why I was so tired. Apparently it's not enough carbs.
-
Thanks, I thought I was, but apparently not.
-
I thought I was getting enough, I have protein with every meal.
-
I am only having smoothies on advise from my gp at the moment to build up my ph levels & protein is meat for dinner & 2 eggs everyday for lunch, also on her advise. I have a recipe book of smoothies, especially for my machine & it has the quantities & the calories, all of which are under 300 unless I add something else,…

I was tested via a urine specimen, by my Dr. My reading is the lowest it can go at 5.2. Should be between 7-8

Thank you for your reply, I will check those links out.I have connected both my accounts already, I had the neg adjustable turned on, but didn't understand it, so I turned it off
-
Thank you.
-
Thank you. Its all becoming clearer now.
-
Thank you, it's all starting to make sense now. I have only had the fitbit for a few days & trying to work it out, is confusing.
-
I only log my food into MFP, but the fitbit automatically adds my calories in to MFP when it syncs. I am not adding exercise because that is included in the calorie count on fitbit. Is there a way of separating the exercise time, calories etc on the fitbit tracker so I can log what type of exercise I am actually doing.
-
Ok. Thank you, that makes sense now. I only eat 1400 calories a day anyway & try not to exceed that.
-
Yes they are the calories im burning all day, not sure if that includes the sleeping. Im new to the fitbit. I exercise everyday & thats included in there. Does it make a difference
-
How do i know what my non stepping activity calories are, the fitbit just shows a total & doesnt split it up.
-
Thank you. Im only new to fitbit & havent quite worked it out yet.

It usually takes a good four weeks for the body to adjust to the new lifestyle before you start to see anything happening. Use a tape measure as that is more accurate than scales, as they can fluctuate all the time. In saying that, if you don't have much to lose it could take longer. I have been logging on here for 8 weeks…

The protein the bodybuilder wants me to eat totals 390gms a day, which is far too high according to the doctor. The doctor has given me a list of foods to eat to help with the depression, along with supplements
-
8 cups of water yes and more, 8hrs sleep....NO
-
Ok thanks for that.
-
There again I am not entirely sure what to put into the answers on Scoobydoo e.g. calorie reduction, but on a 20% calorie reduction my figures are as follows BMR 1187 TDEE 1840 Calories daily 1472
-
He eats a lot, lot more than that. He was giving me what he said I needed & I am only 61kgs!!!!
-
thanks for that. If you look at my diary, most days I am under all of those.
-
This is week 4 now, the energy issues were never a problem the first two weeks, only middle of week 3. I chose to do Lite n easy program as I have had success before, as have many other people & it would help me to keep within the 1200 calorie limit. What I eat is dictated by the menu they give you, no other reason. I love…
-
Macros???? sorry I am still learning this program. Is that the amount of protein MFP suggest you have a day
-
No, I don't have kidney problems, the only health problem I have is mild depression, which has to be diet controlled as I can't take meds. I didn't seem to have the fatigue/energy problem before I started Lite n easy, so maybe that is the problem. Not sure where the 115gms a day figure is coming from, because it was…
-
LOL They were the amounts he gave me to eat, he, himself eats 200gms of meat & 150gms of sweet potato!!!!
-
Lite n easy are not processed foods, but are cooked by chefs. In saying that I was ok energy wise until day 5 into the Lite n easy program, so I am wondering if perhaps that is what is causing the problem.
-
Ok, so more protein seems to be the main suggestion. I have a bodybuilder friend, who I was talking to and he gave me a diet to help me with energy but my doctor won't allow me to do it, he says it is waaaaay too much protein. He is talking 5 meals a day with 80gm of chicken & 50gm sweet potato every 3 hrs.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I only drink diet coke when we eat out, which is not very often &Pizza hut, we don't have where I live nor do I eat it. I only have 3kgs to lose and what plan are you suggesting.
