I love working in mental health. I love breaking down the barriers and stigmas surrounding it. It's the most rewarding work I've ever done and getting to incorporate my love for art into my everyday job makes going to work a pleasure!

I remember leaving the 300's! What an amazing feeling! It's a long road but you can do it! I'm 5 lb away from leaving the 200's now. It's all possible! Proud of you!! Slow and steady wins the race :-)

About 122 pounds (official weigh in isn't until March 3, only once a month!) started january 3,2014. I eat 1400 calories a day and do light cardio and meal prep for the whole week. patience is key :-)

Thank you!! You can absolutely do this! Just take it one day at a time :-)

Honestly I don't use a HRM watch and I don't eat back any exercise calories. If you're counting your burn I hope you're using a HRM, the MFP calorie calculations are grossly overestimated. I usually run for about 30-45 minutes everyday on it. I also work in a hospital and run up and down 8 flights of stairs very often. I…

just take it one day at a time and don't give up. There have been many days I felt like giving up but if I had, I'd be much larger right now then I am now. Keep pushing forward! :-)

I love this!! The knees, my god. Going to a restaurant and not worrying about being humiliated if I didn't fit in the booth, being freezing all the time (wearing hoodies because I'm legitimately freezing instead of the middle of summer because I'm self conscious about my body), collar bones. Really the main one is the…

I definitely started slow and but I pushed myself to go as hard as I could even if it was only for 2 minutes before returning to a slower speed, now I always try to move as fast as I can on it, I (somehow) hit no plateaus so far but am very fearful of them lol.

Thank you :)

Learn from it and move on. Don't dwell on it. One time won't throw you off track the way one salad won't make you skinny. If you have issues with binge eating (like me) binge eat veggies and try to get to the source of why you do it.

I run on it 6 days a week for 30-45 minutes usually. I also do yoga and I'm going to add weight training for the last leg :-)

I just finished a year and lost 115 pounds. My fiancé knew and one close friend. I clued my family in after the first 50 pounds (I live in a different city) because they are the most critical of me and I didn't want to hear any crap about how I was destined to fall off the wagon for the millionth time. I failed at this so…

Thank you so much, your transformation a year ago helped push me in the right direction. You are incredible and beautiful!!

Thank you :)

Thank you so much! I figured what I was doing had to be sustainable for the long term so eating too few calories would drop pounds, but wouldn't be healthy and would lead to gaining the weight back. For me, my health is most important and looking a bit better is just a bonus :-) meal prep is woooonderful. You can…

Are you measuring your food accurately and using a food scale? More than exercise or anything else, honestly and accurately logging my food has likely been at least 90% of my success :-) it's definitely number1!
-
Thank you!!!! I think it's from completely ditching sodas. I only drink water and unsweetened tea now :-) but I've always had acne and it's 90% better now with no dermatology!

Guys your replies are bringing me to tears!! Thank you so much! We can achieve anything we commit ourselves to. Let's make this our year and be good to ourselves!

The struggle is real. I think my face is actually just crooked
