I spend 2.5 years losing 176 pounds and have been maintaining for just about a year!

It's possible. It wasn't easy but I'd do it again in a heart beat. Size 28 (highest known) to size 6/8 pants Size 4x tops to S/M 2.5 years to lose 176 lb. Been successfully maintaining for a year now. It was the single best decision I've ever made in my life. I had no idea how limited I was, nothing feels impossible now.…

Thanks! That means a lot! I did it for my health but if I look younger, I'll take it! :-)

-177 lb 2.5 years to lose it. Currently maintaining (since June 2016) around 150 lb. Lost more than half of myself!

You can do this. Stay patient and make good decisions every day to Move you toward your goal. One day at a time is how I stayed focused. You can friend request me or message me anytime!

2.5 years, -174 pounds!

My shoe size dropped by 3, I'm cold all the time, it hurts to sit on hard chairs because I can feel my butt bones jabbing me, people I've known for years don't recognize me.

I'm down 174 lb in 2.5 years! Currently weigh in at 155 :) calorie counting is the best !!!

I recently sold my engagement and wedding band from an engagement I broke off at a pawn shop and they didn't want to buy it from me because the set was a size 10 and the woman told me she didn't believe the set was mine because I am not big, I had to show her side by side pics of my 175 pound weight loss before she would…

Estimate high and eat a little less that day if you're super worried, one bad meal won't make you fat just like one salad won't make you thin. Enjoy yourself but don't over indulge, that's my rule of thumb.

Awesome work! I started at 324 and lost 115 my first year and have lost another 60 since :) super similar stats! I know how tough it can be and how far away and unattainable goal can feel, but isn't it starting to feel great? Keep up the good work :)

Consistency. Accountability. Endurance. Patience. Accuracy. A real commitment to change. I woke up one day at 324 pounds scared that I was losing the battle and decided I was going to lose the weight and I never looked back. I recently hit my goal weight, it took 2.5 years and I've lost 173 pounds and it feels amazing.

Never let anyone tell you what you can or can't do. You can do anything that you truly want bad enough. I have some on my upper arms and stomach that I will likely deal with surgically but I might want to have a kid first so I'm not in a rush.

Funny you say this, I had an old roommate introduce himself to me at a bar and a friend from college I hung out with frequently not know who I was. It's surreal. It's happened so many times!

Thank you SO much!

Thank you! My style didn't really change much looking at the side by sides, it actually made me chuckle :)

Thank you so much! You'll make it to goal just keep at it!

Awesome work.

Of course! I would say that overall, the hardest thing to overcome was knowing what I was in for, how much weight I had to lose felt daunting and impossible and I truly didn't believe I could do it. Once I started though, I decided I was going to follow through or die inevitably and I see people at the hospital I work at…

I've been maintaining for 3 weeks so far and am enjoying the extra calories :-)

-169 pounds, I'm within a pound of my goal. Size 4x to small/medium depending on brand! Feels good!
-
-170 lb, 2.5 years, about to start maintaining at 157 (+/-2 lb at any given time!)
-
About 170 lb difference over 2.5 years!

It doesn't matter how long it takes, you'll succeed if you go at the rate that makes sense to you and works for you. Competing with others doesn't matter. It's not a race and you should be doing this for yourself.

I've lost 169 pounds and currently weigh 150-something and I feel almost as fat as I did in the 320's. I've been logging my food for 2.5 years. I don't recognize myself in photos and frequently ask my loved ones if a photo looks like me before I post it on social media to make sure I'm not posting photos that are too…

Some skin. Nothing too bad. I prefer it to having the same skin filled with fat.

I just decided I to refuse to die from preventable disease. Simple as that. When I would start to want to stray, I told myself that. It's my choice what I eat and it's my choice if I'm successful or not. Establish accountability with people on here and with yourself. Lack of accountability is how I ended up over 300 pounds…
