Yup, I log everything, including the 9 donut binge I went on earlier this week.

Clothes-summer clothes. Fall clothes, Winter Clothes. Can you tell I like clothes? :)

Edy's slow churned is one of my favorites.

You can do it! I was 45% body fat in April of last year, and now I am 32%. I still have a bit to go, but that 13% has made a huge difference in how I feel and look.

Just because you eat a ton of junk and still lose weight doesn't mean every single person on MFP is going to have success with eating a bunch of crap on a regular basis, just in smaller portions. I personally know I do not lose if I have my carbs too high and sodium (which is very high in a lot of fast food) causes me to…

I like the second one better for a wedding. The black one seems more of a "night out" dress to me.

I have changed my eating to be lower in carbs, and I love it. I don't have as many cravings, I have more energy, I lose weight fairly easily, and I just feel better all around. I generally eat 30-40 net grams of carbs 5-6 days, then have a day or so as my "splurge day." I've lost 44 pounds so, while it's not for everyone,…

In my area, the lowest priced meats I have found are chicken and ground beef. You can get chicken for $1.77 a pound for boneless skinless chicken breasts or even cheaper if you are willing to deal with cooking a whole chicken. Ground beef I can normally get around $2.75 a pound for the 85 percent lean. If you want it to be…

Aw :( I hope your patient is eventually able to seek and receive the help that he needs.

I try to run at night. The temp. is often still 90+, but at least the sun isn't beating down on you, which seems to help. I am so ready for this heatwave to be over!

Bump!

Nope, you were not wrong, and I don't think you were wrong to direct them to the women's area, where there is available equipment that they can use that is not available to you. They CAN use the women's section; he can't.

Yum!

I am losing about 1.5 a week eating 1600-1800 calories and working out, with a splurge day thrown in every week or so.

I love those! I used to skate in high school a lot, and it is a great (and fun) workout. I plan on starting again when DS gets a little older.

Sounds delicious!

I have has it before, and I thought it was disgusting! Blech. I use it maybe once every two months or so when I have finals or a deadline.

You look very sexy! Nice work.

I would say 10 pounds is a reasonable goal. That's a little over a pound and a half a week, which is very doable.

I used to HATE cauliflower. Now I use it as a sub for all kinds of carby dishes-cauliflower fried rice and cauliflower mashed potatoes are my current faves.

White/American. I know I have quite a few German ancestors, some from England, and a smidge of Native American in me.
-
Good for you! I feel the same way about lower carb eating. It gives me more energy, makes me feel less bloated, and encourages me to try new dishes that I wouldn't even consider. I am glad you have found something that makes you feel better!

Overweight people can run marathons. How far you can run has nothing to do with whether or not you are at a healthy weight. What is your body fat percentage? BMI is a decent guide, but it doesn't tell the whole story.

Congrats on your weight loss! I personally think that 190 is too high above a healthy weight for your height. Unless you are packing some SERIOUS muscle, you will still be carrying around too much body fat which carries healthy risks in and of itself.

I eat at all hours if I am hungry, and I do not think it has slowed me down. I am getting ready to eat and it is 9:30 PM here.

Me! I lost 10 pounds in July when I started last summer, went on vacation in August and didn't get back on the wagon till October. In October and November, I lost 15 pounds, fell of the wagon after Thanksgiving and didn't get back on till April. Since April, I have lost 15 pounds and stayed on the wagon through multiple…

I love my cancer causing sugar substitutes. Out of the two, I prefer Diet Coke. Coke Zero reminds me of Pepsi Max-the taste is different, but I can't really put my finger on why. Diet Mountain Dew is my favorite. And I have to say, drinking diet soda is not what made me fat. Consuming massive quantities of baked goods and…

Opinions on this are going to vary widely, but I know I definitely have to watch my sugar/carbs in order to lose weight, even if the sugar is from fruit. Some people lose weight with simple calories in, calories out-I am not one of them. I personally would try lowering the sugar and carbs and see if that helps. Try to eat…
