  • Working to get back on track after a month of chaos and travel 9/6-start after a weekend free for all: 278 (really hoping a good 10 pounds of this is due to sodium bloat) Goals: Assuming I'm bloated and 10 pounds will initially come off super fast as I get myself back in gear 9/13-268 9/20-266 9/27-264-end month at 264 or…
  • I made some cheddar biscuits from Carbquick tonight and they were so good! Carbquik is a low carb baking mix similar to Bisquick.
  • I delete people who annoy me. I actually keep inactive people if I liked them before they went inactive. I figure if they do come back, they are going to need a friend!
  • A dragon! And not a sexy one-A big, bulky dragon with a big head and big tail. My 3 year old is going to be thrilled :)
  • I second Quest bars! They are so good. The chocolate chip cookie dough, cookies n' cream, and white chocolate raspberry are my favorites.
  • I always wear makeup wherever I go, even to the gym, but it is for me, not for random people that I hope to "impress." I have blotchy skin with scars from my teen years, so foundation and a little powder are a must for me, confidence wise. And light eye make-up makes me actually look awake and not half asleep. It is kind…
  • Nothing too exciting or new here. I'm going to be a vampire so I can coordinate with my baby (he's going to be a bat).
  • Hello! I am joining a bit late, but I am happy to have found this challenge. I love fall, love Halloween, and I want to look better. I am 27, a SAHM to a 3 year old and a 7 month old, and I have about 60 pounds before I hit my first goal. SW: 229.2 I was at 224 on Thursday, had Olive Garden and cookies this weekend, and…
  • I drink an ungodly amount of Diet Mountain Dew, and I've never had issues with it affecting my weight loss. I do drink a ton of water in addition to my diet soda though.
  • Deep fried Oreos=HEAVEN!

  • I'm so sorry :( Take it easy on yourself. Give yourself time to grieve and just survive.
  • I get drunk easier when I am trying to lose weight. Too easy in fact!
  • SAHM here! My issue with my DH is that he doesn't clean up after himself. He works 9 hours minimum, sometimes 10-12 hours, and third shift at that. I don't expect him to do much during the week but take the trash out. However, it makes me see red that he doesn't clean up messes that he makes. He gets a bowl of cereal,…
  • Took me 18 months to lose 65 pounds. I would do so well in the summer/spring, then fall off the wagon hard though fall/winter. Maintained for six months til I got pregnant with my second child.
  • My first son hated purees. We finally just started giving him tiny pieces of fruits/veggies/meats and he was happy. He especially liked things he could hold and nom on himself, like bananas, avocado, peach slices, etc.
  • I've had two c-sections. First was because baby was in distress-heart rate kept increasing. Turns out he was a 10 pounder! Second baby I opted for a repeat c-section because I HATED having to labor for over a day only to end up with a c-section. That was the ONE thing I didn't want to happen, and of course, it did. But to…
  • Feel free to add me! I was within 15 pounds of my goal weight in 2013, got pregnant, and gained 70 pounds. I've still got a ways to go, but I'll get there!
  • Hi! I restarted the plan today as well ( a lose version, I kind of combine it with carb cycling as well). It helps with my cravings SO, SO much. I had a great deal of success with the plan when losing weight after my first son. If you go to the "group" option, there are a few low carb groups if you are looking for extra…
  • OP, I promise I am not saying this to be mean, but you sound absolutely miserable/borderline depressed. Somehow I feel like there is a lot more going on with you than the fact that you hate your gym.
  • No advise, but I can totally sympathize. I gained 70 pounds this past pregnancy. I was so nauseated until 16/17 weeks, and of course, starchy carbs were what made me feel 100x better. I think I had gained 30 or 35 pounds by the 20th week. Add in Christmas and Thanksgiving, and I was a beast! I'm 3 months post partum, down…
  • Great results! The 30 day shred is one of my favorite workouts.
  • I think week 5 is one that I repeated for a good 3 weeks. I personally preferred to repeat workouts if I could not complete them before I went to the next workout.
  • Hello ladies! I am 12.5 weeks and have gained 12 pounds so far. YIKES! Excessive amounts of carbs helped with morning sickness, so I have spent the past 2 months literally just stuffing my face constantly. Even now, as soon as my stomach feels slightly empty, I get nauseated. Right now, I am working on getting my sodium…
  • Manda, I have a huge bloat bump. I am on progesterone with this pregnancy, and the bloating is ridiculous. I am hoping it goes down some when I stop taking it because I seriously look five months pregnant.
  • Hi ladies! I am due 1/27 with my second child. I currently have one son who is 2.5. I need to work on getting my calories under control and getting in regular exercise again. I have just been so drained between the fatigue and the nausea.
  • I have had sore breasts and bloating since 4ish weeks. I am also on progesterone, and I know that is contributing to the bloating. Nausea started at 6.5 weeks and has gotten progressively worse. Exhaustion set in around 6 weeks.
  • I just added both of you ladies :) Yes, it's like after three hours, my stomach just rebels against me. I need to start tracking regularly so I can at least see how poorly I am eating. Scienceteacher, congrats on your ultrasound! I had two miscarriages before this pregnancy, and I understand the anxiousness.
  • No, milk is milk. Water is water. Tea is not water, soda is not water, sports drinks are not water! It makes a difference when you are drinking enough actual water.
  • I am a SAHM, and I am so thankful to have the ability to do so. My DH works third shift and some crazy hours at that, so not having a job outside the home definitely helps with us having family time and alone time together. I love the time with DS, not so much all the cooking and cleaning that goes alone with it, but I am…
