A second child and a tummy tuck!

Even if you do get knocked out, it probably won't take you long to get back in.

This is me! I find is fascinating to see how carbs, sodium, how much I drink, what I drink, exercise, etc. effect my weight. I feel like I know and understand my body better by weighing in the morning and at night. I look for overall downward trends.

Me! DS will be 17 months tomorrow. My c-section "ledge" has definitely shrunk, but I am worried how much of it is due to lose skin (DS was 10 lbs 11 oz, so that didn't help!) I still have almost 30 pounds to go, so I am holding out hope it will look a lot better 30 pounds from now!

I just made these, and they are delicious! They have an awesome flavor and texture.

Dude...you are amazing! That is incredible. Way to go on taking the steps to claim your life back!

6/6 Weigh In Height: 5'8 HW:252 CW:178 GW:150 Weigh In 1:182.2 Yikes! Can you tell I just got back from vacation? I know the majority of my gain is from eating a ton of sodium and carbs and should go away as quickly as it came on, so I am hoping by next week to be at 177.

I am like you when it comes to goodies. I can and will eat a whole cookie cake, pie, or cake. I bought a half a pound of fudge last week while I was on vacation, and I ate a half a pound of fudge later that night, so yeah.........

I personally go by net carbs. Sugar alcohols don't seem to effect me, so I subtract them and fiber. Some people only subtract fiber.

Yes, I gain water weight around ovulation and my period. It sucks, but at least I know to expect it. I normally gain anywhere from 3-5 pounds :(

Nope, it wouldn't bother me. I had heard women call their husband "The Hubs" before. Some people have nicknames for their significant others/spouses that seem to take the place of their real name. My husband calls me "Gorby" (don't ask) to my face and when he is talking about me, he always says "my wife". He rarely uses my…

Yes! I feel dizzy, light headed, and my stomach is achy.

OP, are you just watching carbs or doing a keto diet? If you are doing keto, definitely avoid the bread. Some sausage has more carbs than you would think from the fillers (especially smoked and link sausage it seems), so I would be wary of it too.

I tried to access it and couldn't. Can you add me? darrcn5@gmail.com

Sounds reasonable to me! It sounds similar to jumping rope for a workout.

OP, I definitely think you can rock a bikini, just not THAT bikini. Sorry, but that top is just awful. It does nothing for your boobs and makes them look saggy. Maybe try something with more support, like an underwire halter top? You have a nice body, but that top just doesn't do anything for it.

I am used to running outside, so when I run on the treadmill (which is very infrequently), it just feels "weird." It seems like it is harder physically for me to run outside but harder mentally to run on the treadmill. I am sure if I ran on it more it wouldn't seem so different to me.

Um, it takes me an extra 15-20 minutes MAX a day to measure and log all my food, and that's being generous. You plop a bowl on the food scale, hit zero, and put your food in. It isn't some elaborate ordeal, nor is logging my food. That is time well spent to know how many calories, carbs, sodium, etc. that I am putting into…

My name is Christen, and I am so ready to finally be at my goal weight! Here are my stats: Height: 5'8 HW:252 CW:178 GW:150 I am 25 and a SAHM to a 16 month old. For my workouts, I enjoy running and Jillian Michaels workouts. I find that I have greater success eating low carb, so I do that the majority of the time with a…

I am 5'8 and eat between 1500-1900, depending on exercise. I have been losing 1.5 pounds a week on average.
-
I log everything, but I watch my calories too (and sodium).
-
When your body lacks carbs, it burns fat for energy. I went for a three mile run the other night burning that fat! The massive amounts you lose when you first start a low carb diet are likely a lot of water weight, but after that you lose fat.
-
The first day I normally take off, but after that, I try to do something, even if it is just walking. It normally doesn't make me feel better, but it doesn't make me feel that much worse.
-
Yeah I just kind of run them under water and that's that. I am fairly apathetic about chemicals and germs though. I have used the vinegar rinse on berries to keep them from molding, and it seemed like they lasted longer than normal.

You know she didn't REALLY eat just lettuce for 5 months, right? I am sure that was a 'tongue in cheek' comment. And 60 pounds in 5 months is not a huge, unreasonable number. She likely lost 15-25 pounds just from giving birth.
-
Definitely both! The weights will help keep you firm as you lose weight :) Strength training can cause water retention (the muscles hold onto water to help repair themselves). Keep it up, and check again in a few weeks.

Now that summer is here, I live in sundresses.
