IMO, working out 1 hour after breakfast is the best for me. I am most motivated then and I have the most energy. I have only 1 rest day a week right now, and I always chose a day when I know I am too busy to workout. If I am sore, I chose a less intense workout or yoga. My dad went on a similar diet. All soups, shakes and that's it. 600-800 calories a day and lost over 100 pounds in 8 months. Mind you he had weekly doctors visits and he had to do this because of really bad heart issues. I highly do not recommend this unless you have to. I tried it and I swear I felt dead everyday.

I get like that too. I usually just try to snack on cellery with peanut butter or have a protein shake. Something along those lines.

For 3 days I just logged what I ate as normal to see what I was eating. Then I started to eat less and exercise 30 minutes a day. You also have to keep in mind that Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown isn't exactly Yoga, it is more aerobic with all the fast passed movement. I am doing it right now too and although I like it, I like it because it isn't traditional Yoga. Maybe you could do with a different more traditional yoga dvd?
