  • I think that people forget what is important.....people. there are always people who are willing to cut you down, make you feel small or inadequate to feed some need or inadequacy of their own. don't listen to them. they don't matter. you are in this for you....and you are worth it. no one knows all of the struggles that…

  • add me please. I have never exercised and no diet for years....now metabolism (and lack of knowledge of what I am doing) really have me down. I started in Jan. walking 1/2 mile and needed a chair and fan (thought I was going to die) but I have kept with it! slowly I have built up to 4 miles a day and my endurance is much…

  • I go in to work 1 1/2 hours early and do my power walk there! there are no distractions, climate controlled, get my tunes and take off down a hall. (6 rounds -3miles in my bldg.) also every hall has surveillance cameras and security. for me this is a win win situation...and there is no excuse for me to not walk every day…

I started 1/5/14 and lost 12 pounds within 2 months....and then super slow nothing.....I started walking 1 mile at 1st then up to my current 3 miles a day. 1200 calories.....nothing. I have looked everywhere on this site and everyone stated that I must be not truthful about my food intake or not…

  • that isa great idea! i did start walking slowly.....just getting up and making myself walk. then as the endurance improved i stepped up the pace...and this is an easy way to increase my tone and endurance!! thanks !
  • the doctor restricted me jogging because it goofed my knee. she wants me to lose more before i really start to stress the joint. she says that the increase of walking everyday will strengthen the muscles around the knee and give a much more stable base to support jogging with out injuring my knee again.
  • Also, the juice hits your system like a rocket and then lets you crash.....do fruit instead....1.it slows the sugar conversion and gives you energy longer and 2 you will feel more satsfied longer. sugar is my enemy too. i use to eat a bag of york peppermint patties a day.....for me....i went to whitmans sugar free candies…

  • my best friend is type 2 diabetic and her dietitian told her that stevia is the only sweetner that does not effect blood sugar at all. it is the only one that they endorse....if that helps. all the others raise glucose levels (not as much as sugar ) but they do raise it.
