I do the exact opposite! I eat all the stuff in my soup and save the broth for last to drink and enjoy.

That last bit is EXACTLY what I do. All the colors have to have the same amount. I'm so glad it's not just me XD

I haven't quite started the program, but I received my book in the mail yesterday! I'm really eager to start, but I want to read and really process everything that's written leading up to the actual program. Definitely update us on how it goes!

Bumping so I can write this recipe down! I love chicken, and I love garlic, so it's worth a try!
-
That's definitely what I meant. Sorry if it came out unclear. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I'll definitely poke around on the net.

I've been very seriously considering doing this once I move out at the end of December. Right now, there just isn't any space for me to do it, but that should change once I have my own place.
-
This may very well be what's happening. But I think I'll feel a lot better going in with a plan of attack. If nothing else, remembering what I'm there to do will keep me focused on me.

I guess my real issue is that I DON'T know what I'm doing haha. I've been told to check out NROLFW, but even with that I'll be trying things out for the first time, which will no doubt make me look like I'm totally clueless. But maybe having a reference will make me feel a little more confident.

Carb* Wow, that changes the entire meaning of the post XD

That's assuming your regular diet isn't a surplus and you aren't gaining. (Which she is.)

Only freshwater, unfortunately. Haven't managed to make it to the ocean yet. I'm glad to hear it's alright! I'm such a shark fanatic and I love knowing people treat them with the respect they deserve.

Generally what people do is enter the exercise into the log, see the calories burned, and only eat about 50% of them back. That way you're allowing for the overestimated burn without logging incorrectly or not at all.
-
I'm not a runner, personally, but I don't think I'd want to be acknowledged by someone else. Just like I'm not looking for conversation at the gym. (As a complete aside, OP, I feel obligated to ask if that shark got thrown back safely.)

Thanks for your help, guys!

I definitely just want to keep a record of my physical activity. I'll check Fitness buddy out. Thanks =)

Running didn't make them smaller. Eating at a calorie deficit and losing body fat made them smaller. My friend genuinely believes that if she runs (and only runs without any kind of diet change or calorie deficit) her boobs will get smaller, and that simply isn't the case.

I think the problem you're having here is that you assume people are purposely pretending they don't know the difference between weight and density. A lot of people don't. A lot of people hear "what weighs more, a pound of lead or a pound of feathers?" and they will instantly say "lead". It's wonderful that you're so…

While that may be true in some cases, there are women whose breasts are almost entirely mammary tissue. Losing weight and body fat isn't going to effect breast size by any large degree in these cases. And given that large breasts run in her family- all the women of which appear to have fairly low body fat- it's highly…

XD I love that the proof they're wrong is right in front of their face and they still insist on believing the lie.
-
I debated going into the whole "mammary tissue" vs. "fat" thing, but it didn't seem worth it. I think it was her excuse not to exercise.

Bump!

Since you guys both mentioned slow cookers, I figure I'll ask another question while I'm at it. I'm out of the house 9.5 hours from when I leave for work to when I walk back in the door. Most of the recipes I've seen don't have cook times this long. Is there any way I can still make 7/8 hour recipes in that time frame?

I like to wear leggings underneath my dresses and skirts, but even pantyhose are better than skin on skin. However, as I use them less and less, I've found my thighs are hurting less and less. Maybe the skin adjusts?

The second one sounds absolutely delicious. I know what I'm having for dinner

Jillian has actually been quoted as saying she never intended the 30DS to be done in 30 straight days. Your body is saying to take a rest day. Take one.
-
That sounds delicious!

Bump?
-
bump because I fail at making them and there has to be an idea here I won't mess up
-
Glad to hear it! Thanks for all your replies =)

This is great advice. I know that logging is what keeps my eating under control. Every time I crave something, I'll go and log it before I've even touched it. If it fits into my day, awesome. I'll have it. If not, I won't. It's all about being smart about your calories, and when you log a treat and see that it fits, it's a…
