So MFP is just gonna subtract all of my exercise calories from my daily goal? It's never done that before.

For the first time in years, I was able to buy leggings in a large. No more XL for me!

Fitting into a pair of jeans I haven't worn in about 8 years, and dropping out of the obese category in my BMI!

The better I feel about myself, the more motivated I am to workout. I've never been even kind of athletic, so finding motivation to move just from feeling great is amazing!

I've been on vacation all week, so I haven't hit the gym once. Instead, I've gotten up at sunrise and done my C25K on the beach! Couldn't be more proud of myself for my determination.

New one today! I put on a pair of form-fitting capris for work, and I don't look down and think my thighs look like smoked hams. Glad to know my mental perception of my body is changing along with my actual measurements.
-
Oh okay. Thanks, guys! =)

Just for today, I will make it to the gym. Too often excuses or forgetfulness get in my way. But I have my gym bag in my car with everything I need, so there's no excuse for not going.

Hi! I'm bisexual, and always looking for more LGBTQ+ friends! Anyone is welcome to add me =)

Hi, Mandy! I'm Rebecca. I've absolutely been where you are (though my chronic laziness isn't nearly as legitimate a reason as your anxiety) and I know how tough it can be to get out of the rut. Just this past Monday, I went to the gym for the first time in more than a year with the intent to start the C25K running program.…

I will definitely be adding a bunch of you! You can find me at [edited by mods]

Kicked my own butt last night for a fitbit competition with coworkers. Starting C25K put me ahead, but I didn't get off that treadmill until I had a 3000 step lead! It felt amazing despite how tired I was afterward.
-
Yeah, they are. I just wasn't sure if I had to log it since it's a run, not walking. It's okay to just have the fitbit count steps without specifically logging the exercise?

One of my pairs of work pants is now too big to wear! They'll drop right off my hips unless I have a super tight belt on. And when standing in them, none of the fabric touches my legs! It's a huge improvement given that those were always my go-to pants because they were wide around the waist.
-
It doesn't. It's just got a regular knob that has warm, low, and high. All of the suggestions for an outlet timer are fantastic! I never even thought of that! Where would I get one?

Bumping for some of these recipes
-
Well when I ask for recipes, I'm asking for ones that fit that ratio. The ratio is what's important, not the specific things you eat, but I don't exactly have any recipes that have that ratio sitting in my recipe book.

Those are all really great ideas. I will definitely try them out.

Unfortunately I don't have access to a grill 95% of the time, but that's something I could suggest to my dad who complains about anything that's green.
-
Oh that sounds tasty. Thanks for the idea!

Yoga pants to me are a relaxed-fit, full length pant that have a flared leg and are cotton or some other form of soft material. Active pants are the typical gym-type fitted capri/pant that are a Lycra or spandex material.
-
I absolutely have a pad of sticky notes that have my exercises written on them. If people even notice, they'll most likely assume you're starting a new program and haven't memorized the exercises yet.
-
Walmart is where I've gotten my active pants. I haven't really noticed regular yoga pants, but I'll take a look more carefully when I stop in next.
-
Oh thanks for the heads up! I will definitely be stopping in knowing that.

Black Friday is absolute madness in the US. People have gotten seriously hurt in the rush of trying to be the first person in the door to get the best stuff. (I don't remember if it was Black Friday or regular Christmas shopping, but last year a woman bit off another woman's finger for stealing her parking spot at the…

Yeah, I think it's absolutely ridiculous that stores are open on Thanksgiving night. My whole family and a lot of my friends have pledged not to shop on Thanksgiving, hoping retailers will decide it's just not worth the hassle if there isn't enough patronage. (Probably a vain hope) But anyway, I'm thinking you're probably…

It's neat, though.

Wait, there's no mention of food in that XD

Thanks!

Thanks for your help, guys! It looks like a lot of it is just sucking it up XD And @Carlydogs I will definitely look into that. My gym actually has a free hour long session with a trainer every month, but because I've just been doing machines and cardio, I haven't used it. I will now!
