I've accepted, then take it back to my desk, when no one is looking toss it in the trash. Yes, wasteful, but sometimes my coworkers are so damn pushy.

Well I'm at 17 weeks and have gained 17 lbs, I would be thrilled if it was only 2-3. I agree with the others and would talk to your MD about your feelings, I go through some crazy emotional ups and downs while pregnant, and I understand feeling guilty about gaining it back. There are days where I completely lose hope that…

The cube neighbor who NEVER stops talking... to herself, to me, on the phone, to someone over my head... she'll continue talking after I put in my earphones and have my back turned to her... she's talking right now. And the really really smelly woman, she is pushing 400 lbs and has openly admitted she has a hard time…

Me too! Just found out I'm pregnant, last time I gained 70lbs (!!) and I really need to prevent that from happening again! I never made it back to my pre-pregnancy weight, still had another 15 lbs to go, so I feel like I'm already starting with too much weight. What's the low down on exercising? I didn't do anything my…

have a baby... or repitition of the alarm going off at 5am every morning regardless if I want to get up or not... eventually you just get used to it. Year ago I signed up for a boot camp that went from 5:30-6:30am Mon-Fri, I cried at the thought of waking up so early, but in the end just got used to it and it was ok.

Thank you all! I love the tips. I'm such a major meal planner I think it may work out for us... next step is to pick up one of the cookbooks!

The only healthy take out in our little town is a Vietnamese restaurant, bowl of Pho and spring rolls.

Angel food cake with berries and low fat cool whip (or vanilla yogurt) is one of my favorite desserts... But this year the chocolate dipped strawberries at the grocery store looked so yummy that I couldn't resist and had to buy them!
-
ground turkey salmon brown rice couscous steamfresh frozen veggies As long as my fridge/freezer is stocked with those my dinners will be safe.

My drink of choice is Makers Mark and Diet Coke, 69 cal.

I've never rinsed it, oops... or maybe I buy the pre-rinsed because I haven't seen this step in the instructions. :-) I just make it with veggie broth and eat it like rice... sometimes I'll add some mixed veggies while it's cooking. If I make it for dinner with some salmon you can use the leftovers and make a salad,…

ditto the Hungry Girl suggestion, she uses them in all sorts of recipes. I've tried them a couple times and didn't really like the flavor or texture, maybe I didn't rinse them good enough. :-\ But I find them in my grocery store (Albertsons) in the section that has tofu and soy products.

I love the egg muffin ideas, I may have to try that. I tend to just have 2 peices of toast with jelly on one and nutella or PB on the other. Or an english muffin sandwich with 1 egg and slice of Veggie Slices fake cheese. If I do a workout in the AM I'll add a protein shake or fat free milk disguised as a latte. ;-) I…

I also would use a Fit Deck and similar to the previous post, do 1 min of some cardio (jumping jacks, marching, jogging in place) then pull a card from the deck, 1 min cardio, pull another card, etc... for 30+ min. (http://www.amazon.com/FitDeck-Bodyweight/dp/B000UEP0NI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327439492&sr=8-1) I used to…

Most hotels have workout rooms, even if they're small it's better than nothing. Go for a walk/jog outside and combine it with other exercises in your room, crunches, squats, lunges, push-ups etc. I used to bring my laptop and a couple DVDs, pilates, cardio, yoga, whatever you want. I found it easy to pack an exercise band…

I started Ripped in 30 today but I'll join your group cause I like motivation and support either way!

haha! I did it a couple weeks ago with a 24 hour stomach virus... wouldn't want to do it again but what a nice perk.

My favorite is Maker's Mark and Diet Coke. But Diet Coke or Diet Cherry Coke is also good with Vanilla Vodka.

morning snack was a yoplait Boston Creme Pie yogurt... afternoon snack were Pretzel Crisps, Pepper Jack flavor, yum! I also really like the Newton thins or a bag of Cheerios.

I'm loving the suggestions so far, keep them coming (as I sip on more water)!! ;-)
