42 Here. 40 is the new 30 anyway isnt it? Well, I ran a marathon in my 30s, (well.... a half :)) and a short light run today nearly killed me after all this "middle age spreading" that's been going on. Here's to remembering the 1970's. :)

Yeah, I weigh 191 (down 35 since christmas - yay!) and the other sites you listed showed the same numbers. About 375 cal/hr walking (pulling clubs) for a guy my size. Maybe it is right, but boy, it sure doesn't feel like it. Lots of golf in my future if this is for real.

When I hit a plateau, I usually try and workout like a madman for a couple days, 1000+ calories each day, and then make sure to try and eat all of those calories each day with healthy protein-rich food. Dont they add sweetened condensed milk to the iced coffees? That would do it.

Dont eat those calories if you aren't hungry, but if you exercise a lot, say 500+ calories, I think your body does need a bit of extra food for fuel.

I take a "spinning" class once in a while. An hour-long class is over 600 calories. Other than that, running seems to be one of the fastest, 30 minute run (at 10min/mi) is over 400.
