I just finished a two day cleanse. Day one is always rough for me, I would not even think of exercising! For some reason, I always feel great on day two! I jogged 2 miles. I just made sure I was super hydrated before and after the run. The best thing to do is listen to your body and never push yourself on a cleanse day…

Cortelli you are so right! I use plain seltzer and fresh fruit instead.

Alcohol whether it be beer, wine, or gin, has been a major obstacle in my weight loss. I would love to say that I'll just cut it out completely, that just isn't honest. I have gotten to the point where I am balancing a healthy diet, meeting most of my nutritional goals, and allowing a few drinks while staying within my…

Coconut water drinks are low in calories ( 40-50 Kcal per 8oz) and can contain 450-600mg of potassium. They make a great base for smoothies. We recommend it as a non food option for our chemotherapy patients who are potassium deficient.

Well not since 2008….cheesesteaks w/ extra cheese, mozzarella sticks, wings. Ugh that stuff would kill me now!

That's awesome! Congratulations. I need to remember these types of NSV's when I hit a plateau. Thanks for reminding me it's not just what the number on the scale says, it's those small victories I have accomplished that will keep me going!

Hi! My nutritionist calls me a flexitarian. I try to eat vegan at least 1-2 days per week but still include some fish and dairy into my diet. I struggle with this but hope to one day be completely animal-free. Please add me, I could use the inspiration!

I'm soon-to-be 42 and new to MFP. My highest weight was 286 and I lost 60 lbs doing WW. I have since outgrown WW, gained back 20 lbs before joining MFP. Now I'm back on track and looking for others who share the same interests and goals.
-
Congratulations! You look amazing...and happy! I am 13 lbs away from the same milestone and cannot wait. It has been about 7 years since I have been under 200, my highest was 286. Hope to see you in" onderland" soon. Keep up the great work.

I have found that you can freshen up the taste of green smoothies by adding fresh spinach, cucumber, lettuce, fresh parsley and/or fresh lemon. Any of these ingredients help to freshen up the taste, and decrease bitterness, without adding carbs!

I agree that WW pushes processed, packaged foods. I came to MFP because I can incorporate almost any food into my daily diary, barcode or not. I don't eat out as much as I used to but when I do it is really great to find nutritional information here.

Congratulations! It is such a great feeling to fit into the next size down! I have a few pairs of jeans that are "mocking" me, lol. I cannot wait to be able to get into them! Great job!

Awesome! Keep it up, you look great. : )

Oh how I wish I were a cheap date! Unfortunately I can handle my booze. So now I try to limit myself to weekends only and plan accordingly. One bottle of wine is approximately 750Kcal, so I eat lots of salad on the weekends!
