It is unlikely that you are burning 1000 calories in an hour, ever. Get a heart rate monitor or at least monitor your heart rate multiple times during exercise then use a site for estimating calorie burns based on that average. DOn't use numbers on machines or estimates on MFP, not reliable.

I would stick to lightly active and just add calories when you do major exercise. I also use my fitbit to judge my activity level.

You've been on the site since September 2012, lost 9#, log more Quick Calories than actual intake and think you will lose another 60 # by November?? Popcorn and Reese's Cups are not a meal. Look at public diaries, eat meat, veggies, fruits in reasonable amounts, exercise and you will lose but not by November.

I have been on and off the diet soda kick and I do not believe it has impacted my weight loss either way. Avoiding said "toxins" can take all the fun out of life so I say choose the crap you want and leave behind those you can do without....a person could go absolutely nutso reading labels!!

Your sedentary BMR is 1500, adding in exercise you should probably be eating more in line with 1600-1800. You are stalling the engine of your body! If possible use measuring devices like cups, spoons and food scales!

Thing is that men tend to lose weight quicker than women as well so he is really lagging. I will make my own smoothies but as far as Shake-O goes, it is a processed food so not one I would choose especially when the flavors sound so unappealing even by users!!
