  • Just be sure you set it up to your specifications and you should be good. MFP can be over or under depending on the individual which is why the HRM is best. It takes into account your age and current fitness level, MFP exercise data base does not.
  • The National at the Greek last year was even better than their Hollywood Bowl prior to that, Mogwai at the HMV Picture House in Edinburgh Scotland, Coldplay at the Bowl 2012....Tori Amos x2 with only her piano, Devotska ANYWHERE any time! Rodrigo y Gabriela..... and many more to come. Most memorable from the early days was…
  • I remember these days! Personally I never dated anyone with hair longer than mine...
  • I only got 6 but if you could amend running naked on the treadmill to naked on the elliptical than I could have 7..... Great dry humor!
  • We have a party, free food if we are working. At the party there are significant prizes for the free raffle (TVs, NFL tix, iPod aire, $100 and $50 gift certificates) Administrative staff get the "gift of time" an extra paid day off which is pretty sweet.
  • Please see a dietitian! Do not mess around with non-professional suggestions when you have a new life growing. Other professional such as your MD or midwife (personally I have a primary DO that I love!)
  • My old one was more accurate than the new one. Today I got 2 flights by taking it off the charger and rolling over in bed to put it in the holder (the metal already pierced the soft plastic of the holder), with 14 steps......then I got another flight walking a very flat path. Another day I had 6 flights and it shorted me…
  • Fitbit is not going to give you an accurate burn, HRM will come closest. Measure your food and input is accurately.
  • I love Ideal Shape, if you get on auto plan it is a little cheaper but the taste is great and 1g sugars.
  • I don't think everyone needs 8 glasses but drinking fluids (not diuretic quality) is important for urinary health, constipation, headaches, skin and hair health, confusion, irritability. Urine should be straw colored. Thirst can be muted by medications and age so people should not depend on that.
  • Your body needs fats to mobilize many vitamins, for your hair and skin health too. Working out, lifting with an adequate diet will help you tone/lose that little body fat.
  • Home and watching more TV after my total knee replacement. Saw this show called World's Worst Tenants....holy *kitten*!! I was shocked to say the least! I am addicted to CSI type shows including the new fact based Cold Justice.
  • You are adding the wine to the chocolate right??? Cause that is certainly VERY GOOD for the soul!!
  • Make or buy dough and get it thin cause that is best, light on the cheese, add veggies and I will actually throw a lightly dressed salad on top to add to the flavor and textures!
  • True dat!But there is a new show coming out where the Alaskan women have to go to Florida to find mates...... like are they dragging Florida beach bodies back to Alaska??
  • And corn fed chicken, beef.... Whatever...I really am not going to worry about these wild food stories. Everything has a certain amount of poop, body part and such in it. Quit worrying so much!
  • I think so, especially if you do like fruit. That said there have been many studies showing controlling your sugar intake helps not only with weight control but any predisposition for diabetes as well.
  • LOVE!!! the dog AND the bacon!
  • So glad I rewrote humour for Americans.....I lived just 2 miles south of the Quebec line growing up and still write that way sometimes! It's the English too.....
  • Sense of humor is slow to develop with some folks...I totally loved the moldy cheese thing! I never grab food in the dark after putting a cracker in my mouth once that had ANTS on it! HATE ANTS!!!! I go ballistic on them little buggers!
  • Keeping 10-12 but all larger sizes are gone.....motivation!
  • I do not understand how people drink 8oz a day!! Don't they get constipated?? Headaches? Dizzy?? I minimally drink 10-13 glasses and probably more in the heat. Also I have very bad joints and when dehydrated can barely walk!
  • I had Mexican last weekend and a Margarita to go with it..... I was full to the top!! Plus you always get chips and salsa before your meal! Great salsa is not to be wasted!!!
  • I both love and hate watching the shows where Americans are looking for places in Rome, Paris, London...... the whole apartments are as big as a persons one room sometime.
  • I don't care for leftovers much and I cook quite well. When I go out with my daughter we often split meals to keep our intake reasonable. I loved the food in Europe, especially Scotland (weird but true) and Italy. Ate lots of bread, wine but walked and walked and still lost weight while there.
  • Americans are gluttons, largest houses, bathrooms, yard, pool, and yes food too. It goes hand in hand with having so much land space, we are still like spoiled children compared to other world nations.
  • In the interest of maintaining this thread length people should stop blaming their Thyroid for everything. The thyroid is an easy thing to control and to check. The woman did open her diary and she eats crap, often eats under 1200 calories. I know we slow down when we get close to goal so sometimes changing things up helps…
  • I can't wait to get back to walking! My first knee surgery is in September, so hoping for great results. After having a history of walking 2x a day 3-4 miles each time I can't even do a block anymore due to my knees being bone on bone! You do not need to do some wild Beach Body crap to be fit!!
