Hey everyone! I'm in on this challenge. I'm 37, living in CA and currently walk about 2-3 miles everyday to/from work. This will motivate me to walk more often and bypass the shuttle to the trains that I take to commute. My goal is to eventually get to a healthy weight which I think is about 140-145. But, I know I won't…

HECK YEAH!! That's what I'm talking about. I'll be too hung over to wake up and eat anything the next day so it's all a wash in the end. hahahahahaha

I totally agree with this one. I just let it go entirely and overtime your body stops craving it. I quit back in March 2011 and haven't had Coca Cola since. I've always hated the taste of diet any-soda so that wasn't an issue. My biggest thing was my urge to have a coke with pizza. I still love and eat pizza but learned to…

I love both kale and spinach. I agree with the other post about including them in smoothies for breakfast. I alternate my smoothies between both spinach and kale and with the added fruit the taste isn't as strong and they are filling and delicious. I also love making a salad of kale, quinoa, finely chopped red onion, some…

How about making your shakes/smoothies with almond or soy milk and adding a non-dairy based protein powder. My usual morning shake has: -almond milk -banana -frozen berries -ground flax -a big handful of kale or spinach -cinnamon or vanilla if you'd like I eat an egg for protein as it helps me feel fuller longer, but a…

I just joined and I'm trying to get back into it after having completely fallen off the map and regained some of the weight I had worked so hard to lose! Very frustrating I tell you. 10/14/12: NADA! 10/15/12: NADA Again....FAIL. 10/16/12: Walked home from work; about 45 mins (2.5 mi). carrying heavy groceries the last 20…

First of all CONGRATULATIONS on your amazing weight loss and path to a healthy new life-style. It is very encouraging to know that you, being so young, have completed such an amazing journey. You are definitely an inspirations to me and others. In fact I will share your accomplishments with my own 15 y.o. niece who is also…

You should absolutely not feel bad for having one "cheat" meal. In fact do not deprive yourself that only makes it harder to stick to the plan. Just be more careful of your choices. I agree with the other poster who suggested you expand your diet more. Try different food and try to make them more healthy. And don't feel…

Congrats on reaching your goal!!! YAY!!! I do believe you when you said you had to increase your calories. I believe this may have more to do what is known as the Zig-Zag method where you vary your calories more. I wanted to give MFP's plan a try first before I did MFP with the Zig-Zag and after only 1 wk, despite being…
