You can stir fry them with celery. Take the gizzards and slice in smaller pieces. Sauté with olive oil, garlic, sugar, soy sauce, and chili peppers. Add chopped celery and tofu if you'd like. Then serve over rice. YUM!

That's my buddy right there!!!! Kelly, you are simply gorgeous and have done such a tremendous job!! I'm so proud of you!! You are such an inspiration, and your dedication is reflected here. You motivate me every day, and MFP would be a wasteland without you...for realz :drinker:

Put it this way. I've been married for 13 years to my best friend. I'd die and do anything for my family. I can't image life without them. So, is marriage worth it? HELL YES! Once you meet that person, you'll know. Waking up even after 13 years, she still makes me laugh and inspires me to become a better person. I wouldn't…

Hey bud! There comes a time, when you want it so bad, you do what it takes. For me, the motivation is MFP. Being able to discuss fitness and meeting all you fine people keeps my interest going. Loss will take time. Be patient, accountable, and stay with us; I assure you results will come. It's addicting!

Thank you!! I'll try it. My favorite cereal is Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch

Doing what you love while eating a deficit, that's the formula for success and you are proof! Awesome job!! You look great!:flowerforyou:

I assure you; I'm far from finished :drinker:

That's an awesome time for your first 10K!!! You're faster than me :) Way to rock it!! Keep racing; you're a natural! PS nice bass

Thank you, but it wasn't entirely P90X3. Don't get me wrong, I love the P90X series, and if they came out with a new one, I'd be all over it! It's a great comprehensive program, but I prefer MFP over their nutrition program.

You go Julsie! Go have an affair with Mr. Tape Measure. He knows how to go down

I've received a lot of PMs with questions, and I'd love to reply to each of you but I just can't. So I'll explain my journey in a bit more detail. At my heaviest, I weighed 240lbs. I didn't have a trainer and I started with P90X. It was very difficult for me, but I just kept pushing as hard as I could. I repeated that…

Correct! It was too late for me to edit. Thanks :flowerforyou: My profile explains as well.

Thanks all for your comments! MFP rocks!!! :glasses: Answering some questions: I was at a tight 38 and now wear 32 comfortably  Yes, it's a cover up that I rewarded myself when I hit the 180lb mark :drinker:

My MFP calc is only set at 1lb loss per week. On many days I eat well. I also don't log activities like playing tennis, martial arts, snowboarding, home renovations, and all other stuff I may do normally.

There are many peeps on this forum that can suggest a plethora of programs. I like working out at home so I started with P90X and went from there. That showed me the basics and I read throughout the forums and incorporated more into my workouts. I mostly focused on compound lifts with very little rest between sets. My goal…

I'm a little over 5'6 and at my heaviest I was 240. When I started MFP 92 days ago, I weighed about 200. I weigh 170 now. So the 92 days equates to 30lbs. My MFP cal recommendation was 1640 and I ate back most of my exercise calories. There were days I went over too. I think running helped accelerate the burn, and I lifted…

Dude, I've become a running fool! I have so many gadgets people think I'm searching for John Connor.

I agree with not getting punched or kicked in the face. Don't like that so much anymore. I do like that I can go 100% in ground fighting for a better "real world" experience (except for eye gouging and biting). Wing Chun compliments BJJ so well. I used to be a high kicker back in the days but my flexibility is no longer…

Hi, my name's Steve. I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. I have been known to remodel train stations on my lunch breaks, making them more efficient in the area of heat retention. I translate ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, I write award-winning operas, I manage time efficiently. Occasionally,…

Hi Ben! Sent you a FR. I'm kind of a newbie to running, but I'm really getting hooked. I hope to improve and learn through my MFP buddies. I log daily and tend to post dry and colorful commentary, so anyone feel free to add me.

Cuong nhu, BJJ, and wing chun. I got fat and didn't do it so much. Now I feel better than ever and right back in it.

Melisa, you rock girl! I see a big difference here! The back folds are gone, flatter tummy, and a whole-lotta booty popping! You're doing great bud. YOU LOOK MARVELOUS!

Argh! Where's the damn "like" button at?!?!?!?

I am on week 4 of the final block, and I do supplement this program. I run 3-4 times a week and circuit train for endurance. This pic reflects 25lb difference. I've made significant progress since the 60 day mark and can't wait to so submit and get my t-shirt. Yeah, whoever thought a t-shirt would be such a motivator…
