I weigh myself every morning, with no clothes on, after I pee but before I eat. It's the lightest weight of the day, and I find that motivating.

Thank you!

Yes, I always get vaccinated. It's the responsible thing to do, to protect myself and the children I work with.

Keep it simple. Aim to lose 1.5 pounds a week. That'll get you there. :)

It took me 3 months to lose the first 30 pounds. Now, I'm down to like 4 pounds lost a month. It's super lame. The bigger you are, the harder you all. The more fat you have to lose, the quicker it comes off at first. Then, a slow down.

I've been with my husband for 12 years. I still think about my ex. People have feelings. People will be attracted to other people. This is life. Dating and committing to someone doesn't mean everyone else in the world disappears, it just means they've chosen you over their other possibilities. Love is a choice. And if you…

I do, and it drives me a little crazy, but it also helps keep me on track.

I talk about it because I feel it holds me accountable. I started at 275. Last week I was 209. Today I'm 212. I'm not stopping until 150.

I never counted calories and was fat for 25 years. I started counting calories in February (after 3 or 4 false starts over the past 5 years) and have dropped 60+ pounds. I'd say, if you're ready for the commitment, it can work wonderfully. Also I think the phone app for this site helps a whole lot. I used to use…

I used the podcasts here: http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/couch-to-5k-plan.aspx They helped so much! Can't recommend enough!

He was a hook-up at a furry convention, if you can believe it!

If you're only eating 1200 calories a day, I would personally eat back those exercise calories. Have you taken a look at your TDEE? Just to make sure you're eating enough and not being too aggressive. http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html

I have a pretty low calorie smoothie I have on days I don't plan on running. 1 cup skim milk - ~90 calories 1 banana - ~90 calories 1 cup frozen strawberry slices - 50 calories 2 Tbs PB2 (powdered peanutbutter) - 45 calories 5 icecubes Awesome and delicious!

I'm here to offer encouragement! I finished C25k in July. I was never able to finish running a mile when tested in high school. I hated running with ever fiber of my being. Now, I run for half an hour 3 to 4 times a week. I don't LOVE it but I like it and I'm getting better. It's much faster than walking for fitness and I…

I run 3 or 4 times a week for 30 minutes. I'm running a 14 minute mile right now. I've only been running for about three months though. My shoes are Brooks Ghost 6. I've been running around my neighborhood, but two weeks ago I joined the local YMCA because it's just getting too hot to run outside. I'll be back to the…

Matthew Sweet! He's one of my all time favorites and he was playing in this little dive bar near my college dorm. I was able to get right to the front row and after the concert I was able to go onto his tour bus and give him a hug. He'd recognized me as the girl in the front row who knew all the lyrics. ^_^

I'm 5 ft 6, I weight 220 lbs and I wear an XL tshirt (men's size, I guess..girly sizes I still need a 2x in some brands and a 1x in others) and at 18 (USA) in jeans. Before I started myfitnesspal I was 275 and wore somewhere between a 20 and 22. What's crazy is that I just bought a dress for a wedding that was a size 24.…

I weight every morning after my pee but before breakfast. I generally only have underpants on when I weigh.

I'm no expert, but I believe you should never NET less that 1200 or 1000 or whatever. You're not feeding yourself enough. You need food to live. Eat more and exercise more. Again, I'm no expert, but that's what I've been doing and I've lost 55 pounds in 5 months.

You can totally do this! I'm down 50 since February and I was a total lump on a log. Just believe you can and don't give up. Literally the only thing different about this time I'm trying to lose weight and the other 2000000 times is that failure is not an option. Keep at it and you'll do it!

Every other day I have a smoothie: 1 cup skim milk 1 cup frozen strawberries 1 banana 2 tablespoons PB2 powdered peanutbutter It's under 300 calories and is so yummy! The other days I have two scrambled eggs and a slice of toast with jelly. Also under 400 calories.

I'm still a work in progress (I've got 75 more pounds to go) but you can already see a difference in my face.

I have a fitbit zip and it's been a great motivator. It's also a great reality check -- it shows how days in my office I really am more of a bump on a log than an active person. The big graphics on the website for fibit are also really rewarding in a pavlovian way.

I just ran for 28 minutes!

Try it! This was exactly me a few weeks ago. Running 90 seconds was killer! Now, I'm about to start week 8 of the program. I can run 25 minutes non-stop. I'm super slow, but as they say, I'm lapping everyone on the couch.
