when I don't get enough fat I feel like a truck hit me...eat fat, your body needs it When I don't meet the protein macro I feel fine, but if I don't meet the fat macro my body revolts
-
Make sure you are getting enough fat cause if you don't you will likely feel like hell in no time.

Of course there are thin people who watch what they eat and work very hard. I'm talking about the thin people who never diet because their bodies are good at telling them when to stop eating and because they have habits that work in their favour, whether they're cognizant of those habits or not. As a result, they never…

I heard about someone who did this diet and lost a lot of weight very quickly. She ended up dying of a heart attack. Apparently, the rapid weight loss was too hard on her heart. This was a co-worker's friend.

Thank you for your awesome response

All of you seem to be good at going to bed early. I wish I was like that. I can never fall asleep at a reasonable hour and therefore have to workout in the evening. I wish I could get a workout in the morning.
-
I never did say I wasn't generalizing though. I'm talking about skinny people who never have to diet or watch what they eat yet remain skinny. From my observations skinny people eat less because their bodies are good at telling them when to stop and they also have good habits whether they know it or not. My body is not…

How do you think skinny people who don't diet do it?

She will get over it once the novelty wears off. If you are a true celiac like me when you first go gf you come alive again cause your body feels a gazillion times better. I was exhausted prior to being diagnosed so it was very exciting to finally know what was keeping me so sick. I wanted to share with everyone and I did!…

I have celiac disease and in the beginning it was all I could talk about. LOL. Your mother will get over it. I also cheat once in a while but it no longer affects me the way it used to because my gut has pretty much healed from being gluten free for so long. I'm glad it's become a fad cause of all the options out there…

Skinny people have two things going for them: physiology and habits. Physiologically, their bodies are very good at telling them when they're full and when they're hungry. They know when they're full and stop eating. Eating too much makes them uncomfortable. As far as habits go, they only eat one slice of pizza instead of…

it depends

Off topic, but I love your glasses. What brand are they?

What time do you dedicated early birds go to bed?? I would love to workout in the morning if only I could get to sleep at a reasonable hour.

It's fun to find low cal substitutes, but I've found myself having to add back in higher calorically dense foods to meet my fat macro. I wasn\t getting enough fat will all the low cal stuff and my body did not like it. Made me very tired. That said, one of my favourites is low cal vanilla pudding- just 60 cals
-
Why are you afraid of fat? Your body needs it. It's calories that will affect weight loss.
-
I'm very sensitive to very low calorie diets and especially if I am low on the fat macro. When I don't eat enough fat my body revolts and makes me extremely fatigued. I'm not sure how other people do it. For some reason I'm ok if I don't hit the protein macro, but go low on the fat and it's like I have a different body.…

A mixture of physiology and habits for me. Physiologically, my body doesn't know when it's hungry or full. I can keep eating as a result cause it makes me feel good and is pleasurable. Since habits are the other part of the equation, I also picked up bad habits like eating overly large portions. Skinny people visually know…

You are gonna feel like hell without any fat

I would agree with all of this. If I am low on the protein macro I feel fine, but as soon as I am low on the fat macro my body revolts. I literally become extremely tired and feel like a truck hit me. I found myself reaching for lower calorie foods, but unfortunately they were also too low in fat. I've had to reintroduce…

IBS can go together with celiac disease so I would get checked for that
-
Do you buy these refrigerated?
-
I wouldn't worry about it too much and just try to hit macros tomorrow. I only feel really awful when I don't meet my fat goal for some reason. It feels like a truck hit me. I seem to do fine when I'm low on protein.
-
It shouldnt matter too much but when I'm under on my fat macro my body revolts. I get really tired and feel like a truck hit me. When I'm under on protein or carbs I feel fine.
-
I like it if I've had enough sleep and have been getting good nutrition. If I'm low on my fat macro I especially feel like crap.
-
I gave up some calorically dense foods, but I'm finding that I have to add them back in because I'm not meeting my fat macro and it's making me very tired and feeling like a truck hit me.

I have 2 slices of Lou's low cal peameal bacon. 100 cals, 16g of protein and it's delicious. I have it with 2 slices of gluten free bread since I have celiac disease. I also have a coffee with milk and stevia.
-
Since weight loss is as much about physiology as it is about habits, the answer to your question is yes. You will have to form new habits with your girlfriend that don't revolve around food. The alternative is to eat the same foods, but less of them. Both will work.
-
I'm sure this is my problem. How do you all get more fat in with low cal options?
-
Wow, that's quite a bit. Thanks so much for the reply.
