You can do it!! And the good thing is-you started on time! With a full year ahead of you, anything is possible! Set small goals as people suggested and go for it! Best of luck!

Great story, great advice!

Oh yeah, definitely! I weigh 133 lbs now at 5'4''. I don't mind the number that much but the fact that very little of that is muscle makes me look...not so good. I was planning to start weight training in a month or two. Add me guys! :D

33 lbs in almost exactly 4 months. 10 lbs in the first month.

I get the idea. I also love running. It frees the mind and gives me a wonderful feeling. Also, maybe someone would enjoy this http://theoatmeal.com/comics/running I certanly did.

Bumping for later! Edit: I want a donut too ><

Happened to me when I started losing weight! One month, 7 days late, the next, 7 days early! I figured it has to do something with weight loss, so I started taking pills and everything is ok now!

I'm 5'4.5'' and first I thought that my GW is 125, now, at 130, I see that that is going to be a little lower :S I have a small frame though.

I just LOVE fat pics of myself! I am only sorry I don't have more of them so I can use them as before pictures for my success story!

After two horrible months eating and exercise-wise, worked out 5 days in a row!

Congratulations for starting! The first step is the hardest! C25K is a great program BUT I would suggest maybe start with only brisk walking first until you lose some weight, because running is pretty stressful for your joints and your feet, knees and hips will suffer from high impact exercise such as running. Start with…

Seems like May was hectic for everyone! Mine was also the worst month for weight loss ever. I thought March was bad like 'oh noes I only lost 7 lbs' but this May I could barely get it together! Haven't lost a total of 3 lbs (I lost 2.9 -.-) BUT on the bright side I did reach my initial goal of 60 kg so I got that going for…

I carry almost all my weight around my middle section, lower abs and love handles. When I got really big, my legs started getting bigger too, then my face and arms. Now I'm down 30 lbs, and I've obtained a thigh gap (what?!) but my love handles are still here! Lost inches around my legs and arms pretty fast, the rest is…

I only consider it a fail if I don't enjoy the food or it makes me sick afterwards. But yesterday I had a whole new type of fail - stepped on the scale, updated my weight and the ticker said '0 lbs to go'. Long story short - I reached my initial goal of 33 lbs lost and then I went nuts on a whole box of buttermilk…

18 grams of granola muesli. Felt like snacking and nothing else in the house. Also, I love granola.

I became less awesome. Srsly. I always kinda wanted to lose weight, but I was pretty content with myself (straight A student, medal winning athlete, earning my living at the age of 19, loving boyfriend of 4 years etc) so the fact that I was overweight wasn't really something that bothered me that much. Of course, I wasn't…

Add me if you like! I'm 5'4.5'' and trying to get rid of the last 10 lbs. Lost almost 30 by now..

A medal from a European Championship. I'm 21. Actually, everything I've done so far. I'm awesome and I do awesome things daily.
-
They don't bother me much, but my fluctuations are minimal. Like, the biggest difference I've seen in two days is one pound +/-. And I always know why is that happening. But if you feel they mess with your mind, and you are trying to maintain, weigh yourself once in a while..And keep doing what you're doing.

:drinker: Happy star wars day!

I already waste a large amount of time in my day on stupid things like watching tv or staring at a computer screen so I might as well spend 5 minutes on logging what I eat. It's less of a hassle than being fat and miserable. I have a feeling that if I stopped logging for more than a few days, I would fall into my old…

I had a very short bob when I was somewhere around my current weight before and I loved it! Easy to wash, easy to style and super cute! But I always figured it wouldn't look good when I was at my heaviest...So my reward for reaching my goal (a little lower than the ticker says) will be cutting my hair short again!

I am 134 lbs currently and I still see myself as chubby. I think it's because I carry all the extra weight around my middle section and when I look in the mirror that's all I see. I am literally like half of a centimeter away from a thigh gap (which wasn't my intention) but my belly is still there. Breaking point for me…

Serbian Hungarian and Russian, which is why everyone on my mothers side of the family have stunning blue eyes(mine got a bit messed up so they are more grey than blue).

Good job! Being honest with yourself is a huge step!
