You don't need to have 6 beers at a time? I find that I can manage 2-3 per day and still hit my goals if I work out.

After never running in my life I went from 0-10K in about a year, running 2-3 times a week. I'm pretty naturally athletic though. I'm not terribly fast (10K in 1 hr 7 min) but it's good enough for me!

Homemade chocolate chip cookies, underdone. I make a half a batch of dough and put it in the fridge, and only make four cookies at a time (2 for me, 2 for hubby). I can resist the dough but as soon as its warm and gooey I have a real problem

I'm 6' and my goal weight is 165

I would use these apps (I think most of them are free) in this order Couch to 5k 5K forever/Couch to 10K (I switch back and forth between these) 10K forever I know there are more apps as you get more running experience but I couldnt run 30 seconds and now I run 10K easy.

I got engaged at 22, married at 23. My ring is platinum with a three diamond setting. Less than 2 carat total. It was way more expensive then I would have wanted my husband to pay if I had known about it, since he was on a graduate student stipend (in the humanities, no less). However, I really really love it, people…

I'm a 7th year PhD student. I absolutely feel your pain

6' (and a half inch) female here! Feel free to add! I sit around 180 looking to get down to about 160

The foreshadowing was amazing. My husband and I were hysterical

I'm definitely fitter than my husband. I have an active job (lab scientist- never sit down!), run, do workout DVDs, and play volleyball. At 6' 180 I've got a little bit to lose to get back to the 155 I was when we got married, but I'm still not overweight and I'm likely in better shape than I was back then. Hubby is 6'…

My husband's family gets on me for this ALL OF THE TIME. I'm 27, been married for four years, and am 1 year away from my Ph.D. They've been asking since the day we got married. They all married very young (18-20) and had kids immediately, so according to them my eggs are old and shriveled. Mentally I rotate between, "I…

You can see my ribs but I have a hip pooch. Every body is different!

fellow tall girl here! I'm 6', 27, started at 189 and am down to 175. hoping to get down to 160 but I'm ok with maintaining where I am if I'm honest.

Under 175!! (174.8) Tomorrow is my birthday so I'm sure it will go back up but YAYYAYYAY

I would put you as lightly active. If your "1lb/week" loss calories is below your BMR something is wrong.

I'm a science nerd. I am a graduate student in the genetics department and I work on a protein complex called NuRD. I had to edit my above statement because I wrote that I was a science NuRD. :p I love all aspects of science. I also play (sometimes) cello, I'm also an orchestra nerd (I had to do it again). Between my…

If you use MFP to determine your daily calorie goal, you're supposed to NET 1500/day. That means that if you burn 800, you actually need to eat 2300 cals to net 1500. However, if you also use MFP to determine exercise calories, most people on here would say that MFP overestimates calories burned by exercise, and only eat…

You are amazing! Thank you for this

I eat about 2300 cals/day, and I'm a 6' female at 175 lbs. I don't have a problem with it though. I eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack! I eat things like greek yogurt, cheese etc. Feel free to friend me if you want, but I also have an open diary so you can take a look!

I love the C210K app. Since you've already done a 5K start at week 8. I'm on week 11 of 14 and I can already run a 10K!

I lost about 15 lbs, 4cm off hips and havent changed sizes yet.

I work in a lab, so there's not even a wall between me and the other students/postdocs

I'm down 14 and nobody has said anything. On my 6' frame it doesnt seem/feel like a lot

I have a fitbit! I average about 10,000 a day :)

I'm 6' and I wear 3-5" heels regularly, but only lately. My husband doesn't care (He's 6' as well). He actually likes it a lot, but it is a little weird when we dance

I'm 6' and I weigh 175ish lbs. 38DD, 78 cm waist, 100 cm hips, Size 8/10 jeans. I don't have many body pictures because I hate photographs! At one point I had gotten down to 148 and you could count my ribs. I was eating 800 cals a day and exercising twice that. My husband told me to make a choice and I chose him over my…

8 as well love your hair!!

There are a ton of threads in this forum about this topic. Just search. I get mine (38DD, but honestly I'm probably more of a 36F) at Athleta. Moving comfort has great sports bras with underwire and everything. I used to do the regular bra with sports bra on top but it started leaving pretty painful boob sores (ouch!)

I wish you had told me that before I bought my Prius! Harumph!
