  • I'm completly guilty of doing that too, if I'm in a bad mood I'll get a biscuit or a buttered piece of bread or something and eat it before I've even thought about it and one of the most annoying things is that a packed of biscuits is about 30p and say a punnet of cherries is £1 so it makes it even easier on a budget to…
  • I have plantar fasciitis so running and walking about a lot hurts me - have you tried just using a stationary bike? That seems to work for me as there is very little pressure on my foot though without knowing where the pain actually is it's a bit hard to recommend stuff. Have you tried a gym ball? There are sit ups, push…
  • I was starving and had just bought a billion onions so I chopped up about 250/300g of them, softened them up for about 15 minutes in some Spray Light, made a chicken stock cube up with about a pint of water and then boiled it for about 10 minutes. Really tasty and about 70 calories! It made two fairly well sized bowls…
  • Well hello Mrs Dedication! Hope it all goes swimmingly for you

  • Broccoli! Fry a garlic clove in a tablespoon of oil then put it in a pan with 250ml (ish, you probably need about 400) stock and 200g of broccoli, boil it down and mush it up. Deeelicious. Great after a work out too, I used to get cramp a lot and it's like a potassium fest :)
  • Think I've decided to approach this 100 miles a bit different. I do about 4 miles of walking a day around work and to and from the bus and I was going to add that but I don't think I will now. Any extra walking and all of my exercise on my bike will add. It'll push me a bit further that way! :D
  • For me it's something really fast with really loud music. I go on my thigh stepper or my bike with some dance music and just pound it out. I hope you can find something that works for you!
  • Pleased to meet you! Best of luck in achieving all your goals :)

  • Hey Gemma :) congratulations on doing so well so far and keep it up! I'm 21 and have 50ish lbs to go too so we're in the same boat!
  • Welcome and well done for doing so well so far! I hope you reach all your goals and then some

  • Fingers, knees and right under my bust is where mine seems to have gone from so far. It's a bit weird...
  • I'm glad you've thought about it as much as me! And don't hope you'll get to find out, KNOW you will!
  • I don't know if I was rambling too much or you have just misunderstood, I USED to drink like 800 calories a day, I barely drink pints any more and I drink probably 3 times a week absolute tops. And I'm not under eating by any stretch of the imagination and I am overweight so I think the 3.75lbs is odd and I don't imagine…
  • Me! Hopefully it'll be more but I'm deffo in.
  • Good lord your body is AMAZING. I'm going to go do some sit ups now...
  • One day at a time, definitely :) Welcome to MFP, hope your stay is highly enjoyable and beneficial! Good luck

  • Hey Brittany, hope you're super successful and really enjoy it here. Welcome! :D
  • What a great way to start Shaun, hope the inspiration sticks and you do really well :)
  • Welcome to MFP, magic man! Hope you enjoy your stay and ge everything you want out of it :)
  • Wowee you look great :)
  • I'm so in. I spend a lot of time on my exercise bike and reckon I could do a 100 miles on that fairly well so I'm going to challenge myself to do other things! Good luck everyone, get stretching for Wednesday!
  • Lady you're on FIRE! All of those were great :)
  • I used to be awful for biting my nails. Have you tried keeping them painted? That helped me, because I'd hate getting bits of nail varnish in my mouth.
  • Why do people do that?! I don't get it at all, it's not really anyones place to comment on a stranger, least of all when you could be wrong and really upset people. Pfft! I think that's the case for a LOT of us on here. But welcome to MFP, if you're honest with the tracker and with yourself you should find that it's a lot…
  • I've not got 200 to lose but probably about 100 which is still a fair chunk so I thought I'd throw my two pence in (though I think I already did on your blog... you can't get away from me!) and say that I think when you really start looking at what you eat and drink you'll start seeing holes and filling and modifiying…
  • It's definitely not a real issue, it's not like I need to drink it's just I enjoy it. And I suppose that still losing 2lbs a week is more than okay with what I'm doing now, it's just going to be a case of if that stops working for me I'll have to think about cutting my alcohol again.
  • Hey new folks :) MFP has been working for a lot of us for a long while so I think it's great that you've found it. As long as you're completely honest with yourself - it doesn't matter if you have bad days because everyone does! - you should find that it can really work for you too. Stick with these messgae boards too,…
  • These are all awesome! I've got a tattoo on my stomach that's awful but I'm excited to see again! And I don't snooze my alarm either any more, I didn't even think about that :)
