Best weekend ever?! Nice job, hot stuff! :D

I really struggled with this too, I weigh myself properly on Wednesday but I'll always check see how I'm doing at the weekends too. I think when you've had a few times of getting on the scale and it being the same or more than before you get very disheartened and stop! It's also quite exciting to not know, maybe try and…

Congrats for your gold first week and welcome back, here's hoping for good this time :)
-
That was probably my best moment in this whole weight loss business, I totally understand where you're coming from!
-
Everyone else has said it but I'm sure it won't get old - you look gorgeous :)
-
And good luck to you :)

Hahaha! Last night I was in bed like "Feel this solid bit!" and kept making my OH feel my hip bone. Little things, eh?

Non Scale Victory - so things that are happening because you're getting fit and healthy but not really related to just dropping numbers :)
-
I think it's good you're not just setting yourself weight targets but "How bloody gorgeous I will look in x lbs time" targets. Keep up the great work :)

Great work, yummy mummy :)

Getting high and going for a midnight drive with a paranoid schizophrenic. Not my best move. *hides now*

I hadn't used the forums up until about 3 days ago and it's really useful to see what works for other people that perhaps you haven't thought of yourself. Also, if I'm honest, seeing people with really high trackers makes me jealous and makes me want to work harder! Best of luck, I hope you find the motivation you need :)

Yeah, baby! That's great news and well done :)

Ooh ooh! Kelis and Andre 3000's 'Millionaire'. Deffo a good one.

Mindless Self Indulgence - Shut Me Up (a-ma-zing when you're doing something horrible!) and 'Hello' by Martin Solveig and Dragobette. Looove them.

"As long as you're eating 1200ish (or whatever you 'need' for your current weight, etc.) ". Also not 'telling', advising.

I've read through a few pages and I want aaaall of these things you wise wise people are talking about! 1) To be able to wear sexy underwear and clothes without looking like a pig in a blanket. 2) To have the OH about dribbling over me if we get dressed up nice and go somewhere. 3) To sit on the OH without feeling like I'm…

What a gorgeous little baby! I love how quickly cats with wheels bomb about :)

If you're eating 1200 and burning say 800, you don't have to eat them. As long as you're eating 1200ish (or whatever you 'need' for your current weight, etc.) calories and you're eating 'proper' food that's good for you, you don't have anything to worry about. You don't have to eat all your calories, just enjoy them…

I'm sure you speak for a LOT of people when you say that you wanted a quick fix. I did too - and I still do, I'm not going to lie. More than 2lbs in a week would be great! - but I now know that it's not going to happen, and shouldn't. Why eat cabbage soup for a month, lose a couple of stone and put it all back on again…

From personal experience I think that if you cut out 'x' food, it's not going to make you feel very good. I still have the odd take away, I'll still have a few beers and if you try and take my chocolate mousse off me I'll bash you with my spoon. I think you need to enjoy what you're eating else you'll give up. Have some…

It's so great getting on the scales and seeing the numbers go down (or stay the same! Sometimes we have slow weeks and it doesn't matter!). Remembering how awesome it feels right now is really going to push you further. Stay strong! :D
-
Well done new friend, 24lbs in 8 weeks is awesome :)
-
So so pleased for you! Great big congratulations from me :)

Kate Winslet. Without doubt. I have the biggest hips in the world and will be totally cool with that if I can have her teeny waist too.

I've only really discovered the online side to MFP this week having been using it on my phone for the past couple of months so I can speak from experience when I say that if you make sure you're honest with it, it will work. Though it is sad of the circumstances but I hope that you two are fighting fit and healthy together…

I eat on average anywhere between 1400/1500 a day but those days can also include 600+ calories of walking, exercise biking and work outs on the Wii so I guess it depends on your exercise really, if you're working yourself hard you're bound to want to eat more. I have seen quite a few people on here saying that they can't…

I found that you need to break it down. Make a separate list of the things you're putting in and then find the calories for each component. Plus if it's something you make often, you can make it into a meal on your tracker for yourself so you don't have to keep putting in all the different elements. It may take longer but…
