worry less about the weight number and how your clothes fit and measurements for your body... muscle has greater mass but takes up less space than fat.... you may have water weight being retained...
-
fasting isn't good for you... eating healthy with a moderate calorie intake and not overdoing the exercise will work get the wait off permanently... remember you want a lifestyle that is sustainable for your future....

just changed to 1.5 pounds to lose because I was always hungry too... as I get closer to my goal... I have a net of 1710 (that is after exercise). I tend to eat between 2000 and 2500 in a day, depending on exercise... I always burn at least 300..... if you are hungry you do need to eat, lest you go into starvation mode....

I always estimate based on similar things already on MFP when I cannot find exactly what I had.... and I always estimate on the high side.... and I like to eat out as much as I like to cook...

doesn't it just feel great... people ask me if I am going to keep dieting when I hit my goal... I say no since I am not dieting... I eat a healthy lifestyle and will continue that... way to go... you were beautiful before and you are beautiful now...

it isn't healthy to just "lose weight" like that... you need to do it healthy and wise... and honestly, who cares what people think about you in a suit... have fun... get one that works for you as you are not as you will be or could be... you have to be happy with yourself - losing a sudden 10 pounds isn't gonna change…

great job... I however will never have a normal BMI... as my frame is quite large and my doctor determined the healthy range for me runs about 50 pounds more than the average person...
-
it has been pretty accurate for me...I tend to overestimate on food and underestimate on exercise though. the number of calories burned has changed as I have lost weight though.. which means my hour workout doesn't buy me as much extra food as it used to... but that is okay... I am healthier for it...

I meant to add... way to go too... :) awesome when others notice

you know you can add your weight from the beginning before you started here... just go into weigh in and then edit previous entries then add an entry for the date with your original start date... it shows your total loss then...

I don't give into the idea of cheating or not cheating... I eat what I want, balancing it into my diet... I am accountable to it. I eat chocolate nearly every day - most of my diet are whole foods that I make from scratch, but I don't get upset when I have some chocolate or something else others say is bad for me... 81…

if you don't like it don't eat it... find other things good for your heart. I know almonds are good for me, but I cannot stand them unless in stuff... I tried eating them for a while, but realized eating something I don't like just because it is good for me isn't good for me either... of course I do like oatmeal, plain…

combining strength training with the cardio allows you to lose the fat from within the muscles which makes it more permanent and healthier... Some fun cardio that uses your body for strength is belly dancing... just an idea to shake it up...

margarine may have less calories... but butter is much better for you overall - more natural

FYI a typical beer (like miller GD or high life) only has about 140 calories..not that I drink those anymore - they put high fructose corn syrup in it... YUCK

Kashi autumn wheat and cascadian farms raisin bran... both yummy and no added vitamins and minerals - all natural

I have always loved veggies, but there are ways to eat them without losing nutrients... I cook them in soups... all the nutrients stay right in with the broth...I like acorn squash with just butter and salt... some times I stuff it with a meatloaf type dish (I am vegetarian so mine is meatless) and it comes out amazing...…

i like plain organic oatmeal with a bit of butter, nothing else

I am big on stir fries with lots of veggies... but be careful with cheese - unless it says rennetless or non-animal enzymes, you are actually eating the cows stomach ground up... I am told most organic cheeses are truly vegetarian... but I have to make sure it says it... Gardein also has some AMAZING vegetarian items that…

almonds (and thus almond mild) also helps you lose weight... wish I could handle eating them

I am happy to say I have never gone over... I have come close... but if I think I might (like on holidays) I do a work out... and yes, I still eat whatever I want... no fad diets for me

almonds, if you can stand to eat them

it doesn't matter when you eat, so long as you eat your allotted calories... so if hungry, eat... I always eat within an hour of bed, otherwise I wake up shaky and ill... but you do need to listen to your body always...
