  • With IIFYM you don't eat back your exercise calories because the formula used to get your numbers accounts for your activity level. Check out the IIFYM Women's group on FB - lots of great insight.
  • I wouldn't think of IIFYM as a diet. It's a style of choosing what to eat. You can eat whatever you want as long as it fits your macros. You want a bowl of ice cream? Cool, just plan your day around it. It works for everybody because it's still calories in/calories out. It has nothing to do with who has what metabolism. If…
  • Thanks everyone! Thanks! I would say it's probably a combination of things. I recently moved to a new state where I know no one (and I work from home) so I've been able to make a lot of time to focus on all this. I started working out with a new trainer when I moved and she is amazing (if you are in South FL and need a…
  • Give it some time with the same routine, two weeks isn't long at all. That said, personally my method is to weigh myself every morning at the same time, and then take the average of the past 7 days to see if there is a downward trend. I know my weight tends to fluctuate 3-4 pounds at any given time. I also use the 7 day…
  • I lift! And log daily :)
  • I've tried to edit it but it still seems to not be working. I've never uploaded pictures before, not sure what I'm doing wrong! EDIT: Got it!
  • Exactly this. Lots of ways to have a career in horses. I've been starting babies for h/j, dressage and eventing careers, and there is no weight limit on that (well I guess there would be since there is a lot of athleticism involved, but you know what I mean). I thought about going the TB route as I've started quite a few…
  • Everyone is rocking it! Awesome job everyone. I had a big loss this past week because of stress/anxiety, so the numbers will probably stay steady for another week or two. SW in January: 189 CW: 168 About halfway to my goal weight, so I just need to keep on trucking along!
  • That's such a good point. I think for me it has been so important to not restrict myself when I'm craving. There are some days (usually lasts for 3-5 days) where I'm completely ravenous. I try to keep eating clean, but I don't fear going over my calorie limits. There are some days where I'm not as hungry and stay right…

  • Great job guys! So far I've managed to track calories every single day for almost four months (the streak resent on a day without internet access even though I went back and added them). I'm working out with a personal trainer 3 days a week and still hitting the gym and doing at least some cardio on the other days. Some…
  • I've been gluten free since about November, and I've probably lost about 10 pounds total. I don't eat substitutes though, I mostly just eat different foods now (more fresh fruits and veggies, less processed food in general). I think it all depends on what you eat instead when you make the change.
  • I'm in! Age: 24 Current: 181 Goal: 140
