Good job! i have similar goals (5'7") Also started in January 2014, I started at 261 pounds and now at 214 pounds. I am going slow and steady. it is refreshing to see someone with the same goals as myself! Good luck!

I had a very difficult time losing weight while breastfeeding. I was stressed, in school then working, trying to always pump for my son while he was in daycare. It was stressful. I found it easier to focus on weight loss once I was done but honestly don't think it would have made a difference either way.

Thank you OP for clarifying, and to the rest of you people who just assume she is lazy F off. I had to live with my parents when I was in school and they always think they know best. Even when youre paying rent/food etc. I agree with the nuts and jerky comment. I used to hide my snacks in my room ;)
