This is really old but I just found it and am interested!

There is evidence that fasting can be beneficial, it is not unhealthy.
-
While fasting has its benefits, it sounds like you are not doing it really planned out. People who do Intermittent Fasting are very successful, but obviously it is only one of many options.

Food scale and using smaller dishes really help.

If all you were eating was chicken, cheese and eggs of COURSE it will get boring and be hard to stick to. ^_^ Google is your friend. Get creative. Do what you like with carb-cycling. I choose not to because carbs tend to trigger binges for me. If it helps you stick to you calorie goal, then do it. :)

With all eating styles, if you are "starving" then you're doing it wrong. Play with your macros to see what works for you. :)

Cream cheese is a great binder for fat bombs, along with nut butter. I am sure you could also replace coconut oil with another oil but I am not sure of what kind to recommend.

I can't seem to pull up the group on mobile.

That's kind of a 'duh' and I know you probably didn't mean to sound rude so I'm just blaming my own mood. KetoDiet App is a website and app for Keto support and recipes. They regularly have challenges whether you are new or you fell off the wagon and need the motivation a challenge gives some people. It's a really neat…

Everyone and their mama eats whatever they want with portion control. Luckily, I -want- all the food I eat on a ketogenic diet, so I know you're speaking burgers and pizza but, in my own way, I am having burgers and pizza too, just with different ingredients.

I think about it similar to how evolution works; Little by little, over time, it makes a big change. For me, it IS a lifestyle change, a 'journey'. Everyone's definition is a little different.

Or maybe because I have PCOS, which includes insulin resistance, so heavy carb-laden things not only trigger pleasure hormones it also triggers me to eat more because I'm insulin resistant. You said it's good for YOU. I say it is not good for ME. I love my eating style. I am not weak for recognizing foods that trigger…

Okay, yay for you! :) You have that kind of self-control where you can have like, half a pop-tart and be okay with that. I can't do that. I know what happens when I eat bread, or cereal, or pasta or rice. I am more prone to over-eating because they do not satisfy my hungry and make me crave more.

Sodium is important for electrolyte balance. There's no real need to limit unless you're sensitive, you just pee and sweat it out. I do ketogenic eating, so I require upwards of 3,000mg since I drink water constantly and I do not retain a lot of water.

If you are slim, don't lose weight. Lift heavy to build muscle.
-
Believe me I am no stranger to a buffet. :p It's just not in my goals to achieve maximum limits. EDIT: Also, a lot of protein can have a blood sugar spike nearly similar to regular carbs. Gluconeogenesis.

I have never generalized "everyone" feeling the same as I do. I am telling why -I- eat LCHF. YOU don't have to have the same feelings that I do.
-
Nope, never had a steak coma, because I am much more aware of how my body feels and so I don't overeat steak.
-
I can easily make these things keto and they don't trigger a binge & food coma like high-carb "real" cakes and ice cream.
-
Keto takes effort, and that might be a disadvantage for some people. Keto is great, and just like a lot of eating style it requires a little discipline with food choices. Some people eat keto for inflammation control, some people to help control T1 & T2 diabetes and some people simply feel better and less bloaty when doing…

I am built like a dwarf. Short, broad shoulders and hips, can currently lift more than I weigh. I am still overweight, yes, but if I was on the low-end of a healthy BMI I would look like a bobble-head.
-
Make your own. :) Cauliflower rice and low-carb bread don't trigger the happy signals, but they are tasty and I don't feel like I can eat forever with them.
-
If you choose to drink lots of water please remember to replace those electrolytes you pee/sweat out! I drink upwards of 200oz per day, my sodium is increased as well as my potassium and magnesium.
-
Cottage cheese is totally low carb, I would choose a higher fat content because that means lower carbs.
-
HAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH you must not know anyone who eats keto.
-
I did it every day, now I'm doing it every two weeks.
-
Fat bombs are always nice. :)

Donate it to me... I miss mine. :(

I just got a refill for Phentermine. Learn good habits while you can! I also second the weaning off when you feel you no longer need it/want it.

Cereal. I could eat a whole bag. I had 4 bowls of cereal one time. In one sitting, and you KNOW that a bowl = to the top.
