Heart palpitations usually mean low potassium, which is usually solved by including more avocado or a supplement. I have never had keto flu because I make sure that my electrolytes are provided for, since low carb means we do not hold on to a lot of water.

I love keto. I have PCOS with a history of diabetes in my family on both sides. It really is a lifestyle, this isn't for everyone. Unlike other posters, I choose keto because I have a very hard time controlling myself eating a SAD. I am also an emotional eater, so keto helps me distance myself from foods that I used to run…

If it's a new exercise routine, you will gain water weight as your body adjusts to the new activity. Do you use a food scale?

All food = love. Having an unhealthy attachment to food, not to mention the multiple health issues I have, I need strict limits so that I can see food as fuel and not as comfort. Comfort eating has gotten me to an unhealthy place and I have to have control in MY way. That means giving up things that I have learned trigger…

Vegetables are healthy. You can even be LCHF vegan! Humans are capable of surviving on a variety of diets, I am sure someone who eats the SAD can have healthy bloodwork just as I have healthy bloodwork on Ketogenic eating. Before I even decided to dedicate myself to this eating style, I did some Googling in scholarly works…

It's water, you're fine.

Even people with nicely built legs have that kind of flattening out.

Food prep. I'm weak when I'm not prepared.

Calories do matter. Considering your history I would only measure things with cups so you don't get obsessed with weighing everything.

If she was comatose, it might not be a bad idea ;) I was just focusing on the part where you said that they were both bad ideas because you didn't really state why and I took the "crash dieting" as talking about the military diet. :p You are right that any diet low in calories like that are a bad idea.

Please tell me what is wrong about a ketogenic eating style.

Add me: //www.fitbit.com/user/4GVHFV ! I have the fitbit Charge HR, I really like it. I don't need all the things the newer ones can do and it's pretty tough. The Fitbit website quizzes you on your needs and goals to find which one you'd like most.

My cholesterol decreased substantially after going high-fat, low carb.

Would have never pictured myself turning down cake, pizza and super nachos (I do make alternative. :)) or having fun living a sober life. It happened. I'm happier for it. I realize why I was the way I was and I got help for it. Out of all the addictions I've had, I can't just stop eating and so I need a loooot of support…

Are you kidding me? I would marry carbs if they were a person. They are not worth it to me.

Peanut butter is a drug to me. If you look at my diary today, you can see that's the only thing I ate for breakfast. Lol. I know it's a problem, I don't have the same crazy rush with almond butter and so we don't buy peanut butter. I do have powdered PB, however the carb count is microscopic and I have to work more with it…

You don't -have- to. My husband is about 50lbs heavier. He's just relying on calorie reduction, exercise will just help you maintain your muscles.

It doesn't suck. YOU have an attachment to food that you clearly don't want to give up. I get it. I do. That is why Keto works for me. Sugar in all it's forms just makes me want more, and so I binge. Going very low carb I get to enjoy cheese, meat, cream, oils, and not feel like I'm missing out. If anyone beforehand hasn't…

I agree with the second poster, until you stop looking at yourself negatively and think of your weight loss journey as loving yourself enough to take care of YOU, you'll always think others see you in the same light you see you. :) And believe me, pleeeenty of fitter men like a bigger gal, it is NOT uncommon.

It is expected you change your life. This means finding a way to overcome any issues with attachment/emotional eating in order to eat "normally" as well as getting new habits, namely exercise. Once I recorded a binge, over 6,000 calories!!! That is not normal for any human being, and when I can finally be fully in control…

You are probably feeling thirsty, not hungry. I take half a 35.7mg, so a wee more than you. Phentermine can cause dry mouth, which means you should drink more water. If you have any other poor connection to food, say that you eat out of bordom or eat from emotion/stress, you might want to handle that before saying that the…

Maybe you should link the article, so other people can read it.

I can eat grilled chicken too, slathered in butter with a side of buttered green beans. Low carb, high fat, always satisfying to me. I can have KFC too, if I bothered with eating out at all.

Pinterest has saved my Keto life. For real.

For me, it will be a life-changing eating style. For others, some use it for a little while to help with bloating and get themselves more under control in regards to impulse eating and whatnot. It's easier to listen to my body on keto. The weight SHOULD be stable if you just gradually increase your carbs to a level that…

Water.

The nutritional needs of someone on a medically necessary Keto diet vs. non-medically needed keto diet is very different so that isn't really indication that keto is dangerous. Also, lowered my high cholesterol in all areas in 4 months of low carb... sooo... I am not one of the 5%.

I have Graco, most of them can easily fit an infant carrier and some come with their own. Prices range from $170- $300 + depending on brand. Look for all-terrain if you live in a developing area (my own neighborhood was county and now transitioning to city, so lots of places don't have sidewalks)

Oooh, C-section and stitches. A jogging stroller will be good even for walking especially if you're a naturally fast walker. :)
