No way 169 is the low end. More like the high end.

It will get easier...Eventually you'll get addicted the feeling of the endorphins kicking in after a long exercise session, and you'll want to spend more time there (I believe)...A piece of advice: it might be a good idea to spend some time on the treadmill, cardio is very effective when it comes to weight loss. Here's an…

How do you know she has no muscle? Some people have LEAN muscles as opposed to bulky ones. It's not like she's lifting 200 kg or something. As for the people who say women can't grow bulky muscles...heh, so not true. After cycling uphill for a month, my calves became huge. (EDIT:not saying there is something wrong with…

Sorry my answer is all about me, but I can't provide a scientific one since I only seem to be able to find conflicting advice when it comes to this topic. As someone who is trying to LOSE leg muscle (mainly from my calves, they are larger than I'd like them to be), I've found that it depends on what kind of cardio you are…

Well, not my fault people won't leave me alone. Who are you by the way? The police or something?
-
Ok, this guy here called her mannish (on the third page). Not rude at all.
-
Small rib cage and shoulders and heavier hips is the definition of a pear-shaped body, just saying...This isn't an argument, yet you criticized me for mine.
-
For the last time...I said she looks fattER than in the first picture...not fat. I even said she looks average weight-wise (I didn't know that average equals fat). She asked. Whether she looks good or not is a matter of opinion. I told her mine. I prefer a BMI of 19 to a BMI of, say, 23 (no idea what hers is in those…
-
I hadn't, but I did just now and it looks to me like you have a proportionate body and you are at a weight at which you don't have to worry about it being too low or too high (a BMI of 20, or even 21 or whatever it is in those pics is FAR from high anyway). Just cause I said you didn't look bony to me doesn't mean I think…
-
Actually, I was referring to your upper body in general, which includes arms and shoulders as well. When I try to tell whether someone is slender or not I usually don't look at a particular body part since some people have disproportionate bodies, but I may look at what their upper (and lower) body looks like as a whole.…

Thanks to slow long-distance running my legs are all muscle, yet slim (albeit not AS slim as I'd like them to be, but I blame my body-shape for that). The reason you are not losing weight is probably cause you are overestimating what you burn from each running session. I find that I have to eat sensibly, or else I won't…
-
Like other people already said, (some) weight fluctuations are normal, even throughout the day...but maybe you are underestimating what you are eating?
-
All I'm saying is that your profile picture proves otherwise. Could be the angle, but your arms/chest etc are not what most people would consider bony. I don't think that people's upper body changes much when they sit down, does it? Also, you currently have a BMI of 20, which is considered perfectly healthy/normal (as…
-
Let me add that I agree with what the other people said...BF % matters to...Sadly, not everyone owns or has access to a body fat monitor...
-
You can use BMI as a rough guideline. You could try to get down to 155 and reevaluate from there. If you like the way it looks, you can prob stay at that weight since it is around the upper limit of healthy (according to calculators). I'm sure there are people out there who look and feel fine at 110 lbs, but that doesn't…

She looks average weight to me in the second picture. I am not going to lie and say I consider her slim when I don't. This was a question about what looks better, wasn't it?
-
Not that this is any of your concern, but since you asked, I googled "myfitnesspal" + "pics" + "thinner" cause I was looking for some weight loss success stories (trying to shed a few pounds myself). This is one of the posts that came up. I wanted to be inspired by how much better (IMO) people look at a lower…

Ok, I just saw this. When exactly did I say she doesn't look healthy? Yet another assumption that doesn't make sense, but of course everyone is okay with that. This was a question about what looks "better" and that's what I shared my opinion on...
-
Wow, everyone is attacking me for making illogical assumptions, and now YOU are making one...When did I say her legs look fat? I said they look FATTER in the 2nd pic than in the other one, I never said they look fat per se (they obviously aren't).
-
How is sharing one's opinion trolling?
-
I am not trolling. I am just not one of those people who sugarcoat everything.
-
There's no logic for this assumption. Those were two different sentences. And yes, I believe that a lot of people on here have a distorted view of what look healthy, sorry. Waiting for the second round of attack (not because I enjoy it but because I know there WILL be a second one...).
-
Ignore the women saying you look like a 13 year old at a lower weight, they are probably just jealous/bitter. This is what I wrote. I didn't say that the women who preferred the 2nd picture are jealous. Where's your logic now, everyone?
-
Saying she looks like a 13 year old in the first picture is what i consider an attack.
-
I am not a native English speaker. Ok, keep your opinion and let me have mine. I am here to answer the OPs question.
-
What's the matter with you? What you are saying doesn't even make sense. Don't you have anything better to do with your time than attack me for no reason?
-
Sadly, no.
-
Don't try so hard...
-
I lurked for some time before I decided to join and share my opinion on things (I can have one too, you know). I don't understand what you mean by "catfish", sorry.
-
Oh, and you still didn't answer what that has got to do with this being my first post...
