DEFINITELY bump! thanks!

Tried the vanilla one once, it was disgusting. I THOUGHT it was supposed to be taken before/after a workout, but it's actually intended to be a meal replacement. I think it's around 350 calories for a whole bottle... Wouldn't recommend. EDIT: 250ish calories

there's a "weight training" option under cardio exercises. log it under that

900 for that?? that doesn't sound right. i would say you ordered the wrong thing. maybe it's the chips? not sure, but my 6' sandwiches are usually around 4-500.

Hahah i've been wondering this for SO long! I don't understand why it happens!

I feel like I belong in some beautiful small town on the East Coast. Massachusetts, Connecticut, something like that. Being from the Bay Area, Ca, I want seasons and suburbia and quiet!!
-
And yes, beverages HUGELY add up! If you drink a few sodas/juices/gatorades in a day, that could easily be hundreds or even thousands of calories that you're missing!

OKay, MISTAKE NUMBER ONE!!! you cannot weigh yourself daily. I know a lot of people do, but seriously this will make you crazy. Which will in turn lead to an emotional rollercoaster. Your weight naturally goes up and down throughout the course of a day. So your weight being higher during the nighttime is definitely normal.…

Honestly, it all depends on your diet. If you're eating low enough calories on the days you aren't swimming, then yes you will lose weight. Like many others have said though, the more calories you burn the more you get to eat!(which is always a plus :) )

Good idea! 1. Ditto on yours. I've learned a lot about minimum calories/starvation mode 2. We are all capable of WAY MORE than we think we are! 3. A bad calorie day here and there(even a bad week!) won't kill you. Despite your fears, you will NOT gain back all your weight. Just hop back on! 4. This process is an ongoing…

Your usual meals sound extremely healthy, but personally I couldn't do it. I think that's probably why you're so hungry. You need to add some substance! GIve in once in awhile. While it's great to eat like that, sometimes you just crave a whole lot more and it just won't satisfy you. So when you're feeling hungry, EAT!

It could be a lot of things. 1. Are you eating back your exercise calories? This could greatly stall weight loss if you aren't 2. Do you not have much weight to lose? Weight comes off much slower and harder the less there is 3. Are you underestimating calories eaten? Don't forget beverages, things you just "take a bite…

you're just going to have to search through MFP's food database(there is a TON of stuff on there). most likely you're going to have to guestimate most of it, but just do the best you can.

bump! i'm going off to college in about a month, so thank you for this post :)
-
purnurple- congrats on being halfway to your goal!! That's so awesome and must've taken a lot of work!
-
I would suggest something like a chicken breast. Couple it with some rice or veggies, and it's filling but very low cal for a meal.
-
If you eat with them only every once in awhile, then I wouldn't really worry about it. One meal won't kill you.

Sorry i've been MIA. Vacation and personal stuff going on... Weighing in today at 174.
-
I exercise all the time! Cardio and weights.
-
Congrats!!!
-
Sorry for the late response! Completely forgot :( Weighing in at 175. I believe that's a lb lost.
-
I've ALWAYS worn a bikini and i've always been overweight! I feel much sexier in that than I do a one-piece. So who cares! What matters is how it makes YOU feel.
-
great article, thanks.
-
that is HILARIOUS
-
We DESERVE to have nights like that!!
-
Your work exercise should go under your "Normal Daily Activity" that you chose in the beginning. Sedentary, Lightly Active, etc.
-
Hey! I'm 20, and we seem to have almost the exact same stats/goals. Add me if you like!
