I splurged for an entire WEEKEND. I went on vacation and decided I was going to eat/drink what I wanted. I was a little scared to get on the scale on monday, but i ended up staying exactly where I was! I think the point is that one day, or even two, isn't going to kill you. It's really not going to change much.

I started out that way too, but trust me your endurance increases quickly! in a few weeks you'll be amazed at the things you can do! as far as the cravings go, those never go away :-/

You're right, there isn't much of a difference in terms of calories. The thing is, wheat bread is better for you in terms of whole grain, sugars, etc.

From what you said, it doesn't sound like you're counting your calories. That's huge. Before I got onto this site, I was working out a lot and "watching what I ate", which I thought was enough, but I ended up not losing anything. Once you put it on paper(so to speak), it seems the magic starts to happen.

I do the elliptical machine(cardio) for about 30 minutes, then I do a combination of planks and weights for 20ish more minutes. Doesn't take too long and burns a good amount of calories! Zumba classes are also fun.

I like mixing yogurt and granola. Not exactly low-cal but very filling! Also, Quaker quakes rice snacks are really good and hold me over for a couple hours. And Chewy bars! 90-100 cals and good for at least an hour.

Of course you're going to lose weight FAST if you don't eat much, but it's extremely unhealthy. And as soon as you eat a little more, you gain it right back. Losing weight by exercising and eating enough is slower, but it's more effective and long-lasting.

Yeah I would agree that 20 lbs/month is A LOT! A lot of people are on 1200 calories/day. Remember that doesn't include calories your burn with exercise. So exercising will allow you to eat more.

Yes. When I started my weight loss journey, I started going to the gym ~6 days/week, when I previously didn't exercise at all. HAHAHAHA totally made me laugh. and sadly, it sounds good :-/ anyways, seeing as what kinds of food/how much food makes up the 1,700 calories I eat now, I was EASILY eating 3,000-4,000 calories per day. it was a scary realization when I started logging calories on here!
