DEFINITELY eat more! It may sound backwards, but trust me, you're sabotaging yourself otherwise.

You can DEFINITELY see the difference!! You're doing great!

I would give it some time. It's normal to have a several pound difference over the course of a few days...it definitely evens out! If it's still happening in 2-3 weeks, then maybe i'd check with your doctor.

I go to 24 Hour Fitness and I love it! It's nothing fancy, but it has everything I need. The employees are nice, you get a free fitness orientation (trainer goes over your body fat %, measurements, goals), and the one I go to is smaller so I almost never have to deal with a crazy amount of people. PLUS, it's 24 hours! I…

Try and stay away from the chips, tortillas and taco shells. I've researched a little on this(i LOVE mexican) and fajitas seems like the best bet. Just the meat and veges. And very little beans and sour cream!

The motivation on this site is AWESOME! Feel free to add me :)

Bananas! I was shocked at how many calories they have!

Congrats! Doesn't that feel awesome?

What podcasts? How do I find them? Also.....at what speed are you supposed to run? Does it matter? I'm thinking of starting C25K next week..

I have the SAME problem! It seems almost every day i'm shocked by the amount of sugar i'm consuming(and I think I eat pretty well!). It's hard to find stuff without sugar in it..

I saw the pictures! and they are AMAZING!!! You look like a completely different person. Truly an inspiring story. I am so happy for you!!

I definitely worked up a sweat doing Zumba! Might be your teacher :ohwell:

The game can only guess, so I would say go with the HRM seeing as that it's actually based off of YOU.

I've heard the calorie shock works for a lot of people. I haven't hit a plateau yet, so I don't have personal experience, but I plan on calorie-shocking myself when I do!

From my experience, it DEFINITELY overestimates calories burned. After getting a heart rate monitor a few days, I found that the machines are pretty accurate. So go with the machine numbers!

Well, welcome! I hope you find what you're looking for here. I truly believe this site and the people on it are a godsend. The motivation and support just keeps on coming.

I would suggest getting a gym membership. I don't get bored going 6 days a week, because there's so much I can do! My favorite is the elliptical, I do that everyday. But I also sometimes do the stationary bike, step aerobics, weight training. ALSO, most gyms offer classes and a Zumba class is so much fun! I would highly…
