Get fitted for shoes that work for you, at a running store. My feet always thank me, and I have medical condition that causes flares in my plantar fascia all the time. Be kind to your feet.

I have Ankylosing spondylitis so my tailbone is a big issue and my hip joints. I started doing them on my bed, but I do lots of stand up ab work as well. And try a chiropractor, it can help if your sacrum is out of alignment.

Couch to 5 k is how I started. It's a good guide, some days you might need to repeat a workout some days you might skip on ahead. It's a great program to keep it real for beginners. And don't be cheap with running shoes, take care of your feet and they will keep you moving. Good Luck!

I have found my natural chiropractic nutritionist to be most helpful with road blocks, and balancing the system. Before my recent illness i would not have tried such a path in the past, but a recent illness has caused me to look for more balance and natural methods. Count all the meat sodium, and a portion of the sauce. I agree, most of the sauce is not eaten. I would also try to avoid sodium the rest of the day.

BOTH, if cost is a factor and your are not ready to pay for a personal trainer. Try a few 30 day challenges and start with squats, then maybe pushups, and then abs, i do these sometimes with coworkers.
