You could try cutting cheat days to a cheat meal or snack or cut it out all together. But you don't necessarily have to miss on certain foods completely, if there's something you're craving you could try buying a smaller portion or saving half of what you get for another day. I personally try to cut things in half and with…

For the sake of karma, I like this as a possibility. Karma, please make mean people take my fat lol.

Sounds like a friend I used to have. She was thin to begin with and she eats like a pig, Fast food at every meal in mass amounts, and she was mad when someone accused her of being bulemic.. Eating 2000 calories at every meal and having no physical activity does not allow you to lose 30 pounds in half a year.. I'm sorry.

For the sake of having a date, summer in my area usually starts around mid to late June if we're lucky. So my goal is 30 pounds by July 1st. That's a little over half a pound a week.

Same here! Just about to turn 21 and I'm not wanting to keep the lifestyle I currently have in my 20s. I'm on board with 30 pounds by summer!!

I'm 4'11.75", my heaviest and most recent weight is 211. My current pant size is US 13 and my goal is back to 125, or 115 if I'm lucky, although I do want to gain more muscle mass as well so I'm okay with that number being higher if that happens. When I was originally 125 pounds about 7 years ago I was wearing size 3-5…

Five Finger Death Punch when on my stationary bike. Makes me pedal faster!

I had this problem once. My mom had recently moved to another city and when I was visiting her wanted to buy me some new clothes like she used to before she moved, so we went to their mall. I was overweight at about 180 but I was and am a size 13 pant, not considered plus sized yet, and the lady at the store came up to us…

Like you said, it probably wasn't said with malintent but I HATE going to the doctors when they start to mention my weight. I never eat fast food or drink soda but they always insist anyways that I need to stop doing those things -.-

The rudest thing I've had done to me was from someone who claimed I was their best friend for years. When I was around 14 I weighed 125 which is the perfect weight for my height and she weighted about 10-20 pounds lighter than me but is taller. Even as I've gained weight I've always worn the same sizes for certain articles…

I wouldn't even add the word 'Diet' to your vocabulary at all. I'm the same way when I think I need to not eat or so certain things. I'm trying to just set monthly goals to better myself. Like my first month I ate more fruit because I wasn't eating any. This month I'm eating more vegetables because although I had some it…

Sometimes I get really upset and stop tracking my calories either because my "Best friend" makes me jealous and I get this idea that I'll never be thin, or because I get afraid that I will act strange when I'm thinner. I'm also afraid of how my body will look, I look at "Fitspo" pictures online and I worry that I'll have a…

When I started a year ago, and kept trying through out last year, I went by MFP's suggestion of 1200 calories and I was miserable, always so hungry and mad because I "couldn't" have a snack. I'm starting over, getting close to 50 days tracking but I'm making sure every day I eat 2 cups each of fruits and veggies even if it…

I really want to lose weight to be able to have healthy kids and be healthy for them too, but for some reason that hasn't been a big enough "WHY" for me. I guess it still doesn't feel like I'm doing it for me if it's for another human being, even if it is family =/ really sucks

I had mine removed at 18 (lucky me huh?) and the only reason I gained weight was because I babied myself afterwards and stayed in bed a lot longer than I should have. Certain medicines people take may also be why they're keeping weight, not a lack of a gallbladder. Although I think doctors also warn about weight gain, that…

If it is water retention then start tracking your fiber and slowly increase the amount of fiber you eat and lower the amount of sodium you take in if its above your goal, usually 2500. You can get alot of fiber in fruits and vegetables at a generally low calorie intake. Also make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

I'm in! My goal is a little bit different but it's close. My goal is to loose about 10-11 pounds by December 6th so I'd imagine I'd probably be losing 15 by Christmas! CW:195 GW:185-180

Potatoes are fine for you as long as you're not lathering it in too much butter or salt. A very small amount of olive oil on a baked potato is amazing, it has more nutritional value than butter and less calories in one serving(really you dont need alot).

I totally agree, although I do still struggle with this. I get very angsty against weight loss, exercise, eating healthy and people in general and I break down really bad. Recently I decided I'm going to start from scratch. I can't try and force myself to eat well and be more active when I can't even make my self have fun.…

And being questioned at amusement parks... Yes I am tall enough and capable enough to ride your stupid ride.

I'm 4'11'' and I enjoy rock concerts alot.... When I can see them. I don't appreciate getting elbowed in the neck or chest by people who are usually closer to 6' that wont trade places with me. I've learned how to bypass the frozen food section. Take a box you can reach and use the corner in the spaces on the bottom of the…

I deal with the same thing. I'm actually struggling to meet my goals because I can't even start to like the body I'm in now. I'm just constantly getting so discouraged and depressed over it. I would like some ideas on how to stay positive too!

Eat something like an apple or a cucumber, just some fruit or veggie. Wait about 20 minutes and then rethink the craving. If you still crave chocolate than have one serving of what ever you get. If you can't make your self eat the fruit or veggie than you're not really hungry at all.

From what you mentioned, eating less than 1200 calories is not good for your body and can also cause adverse effects which may slow your metabolism. I would suggest to keep a range from say 1200 to 1400 and then always have a deficit on top of that. To lose one pound a week you have to have a deficit of 3500 calories, or…

I use a stationary bike and with plain shorts I just DIE by the end of my session. I bought some exercise Capris from walmart for like 13 bucks and the problem doesn't even exist any more.

I'm not even done losing yet but I'm shocked at how quickly I lost weight in my face. I still have a long ways to go but I'm glad to see my ACTUAL face again!

I completely disagree with the idea of "Don't eat after 9 pm" and blah blah blah.. I work 2pm-11Pm and then I stay up until 5-6 am. If that were the case then I'd be the hungriest person in the world. It doesn't matter WHEN you eat, but how much you eat and what you're doing physically. If snacking is making you worry so…

Nuts, beans, olive oil, avocados, some fish such as salmon. If you google "healthy fats" you should find a big list of fats that won't hurt you as bad.

I do both everyday, an hour of my stationary bike 5 days a week and every 20 minutes in that I stop and do my weight training. (I only alternate because it hurts to sit on that thing for an hour straight and it also helps me not get so bored on my work outs) It usually takes me about an hour and a half total. I'd say…

The first thing you should always ask yourself is WHY are you wanting to be healthy. If it's for him to find you attractive again than you can basically throw that reason out the window, I only say that because there's a major pattern of quitting when people are losing weight for someone other than themselves. I also…
