Vanilla Chex. Way too sweet, ate one spoonful and threw the rest of the box away.

After not running for 2 1/2 months due to injury, I laced up my shoes and got out there last night. It was a walk-run combination, but it's more than I've been able to move in a while!

Run a mile in under 10 minutes (small goal, easily obtainable) Run a 5k without walking (so close, tend to break down in mile 2, can be mentally stronger) Run a Half Marathon Swim more Be comfortable lifting Not be intimidated by others at the gym

There's an old wive's tale that says putting a bar of Ivory soap under the sheets of your bed will help with leg cramps. I've never tried it but I know people who swear it works. Besides that, my suggestions are the same as everyone else- Potassium or Magnesium.

Congress! How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

For me, it's the goals I have set for myself. I'm currently training for a half marathon and the desire to cross the finish line and say "I DID IT!!!" is keeping me motivated to do the training and eat the right foods. Some days it's hard, very hard, to find the motivation to go run, but I know what my end goal is and what…

Yes, they were the Kemps ones! Thanks for the heads up on how meh they are. I'll save myself the few bucks and the bitter disappointment aftertaste.

Newish runner here as well! Never really ran more than a couple miles at a time before, but I'm working towards becoming a "runner", instead of just a girl who can run. I have my first 5K of the year this coming weekend, currently training for my first half marathon in November, recovering from a nasty case of shin…

I was at Target the other day and saw they had Pudding Pops and did a mild freak-out in the frozen food aisle "OMGPUDDINGPOPSMUSTBUYSOME!!" and frightened everyone around me (they obviously didn't understand the awesomeness that was Pudding Pops). But then I noticed they weren't the original Jell-o brand ones and would…

I grew up a swimmer and the chlorine would make me itch like crazy. There is a shampoo called Ultra Swim that used to make a bar soap that always helped me. I'm not sure if they still make it or not. Now, I use Aveeno oatmeal bar soap and shower as soon as I get out of the pool and the Eucerin calming creme lotion helps to…

I focus on the short-term goals as well. Looking big picture seems too daunting to me. Breaking it up into smaller pieces is more manageable and helps set me up for success. For me, goals need to be SMART: specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely..

Yep- that's totally me and my s/o...

I'm not a fan of working out with my s/o. We used to drive to the gym together and do our own thing, but he always wanted to head home before I was ready to, and I found myself often cutting my workout short. Now, we go at different times and I'm not pressured to leave before I want to. Also, running is my time to clear my…
