Well done! I'm aiming for 1-2 a week too, but as I've got so much too lose I've been having big losses. It's a great boost. Keep up the good work

I've lost 14lbs and I've gotta a whole lot left to go - online friends who understand have been so helpful. Feel free to add me

Hi, I'm in the UK....I log daily but don't have an open diary. Feel free to add if the closed diary doesn't bother you

Request sent....the more the merrier

I tried via my app too and it wouldn't let me. The most annoying thing about the app!

Don't beat yourself up! This weight loss malarkey is tough and not every day will be a "great" day. Use how you feel in a positive way if you can....so you had some biscuits and chocolate, make yourself do a bit of exercise, to help counter it. Not only should you not feel as guilty, the exercise might even make you feel…

PS I don't think clicking on the names on the mobile app works, I think you need to be on the actual site maybe?

Welcome to MFP, I've been using for a couple of months and the support is the best thing about it! I've sent a request

Hi ... Im in Oxfordshire

Thanks everyone! I'm feeling better even after just a few weeks so it's good to know I'm on the right track :-)

I eat all my emotions...boredom, stress etc. but I've (finally) given myself a kick and I'm doing something about it. Firstly, get a hobby. It's like giving up smoking, you're hands need to be busy. I've taken up cross stitching just to keepy hands out the biscuit tin lol! Also going for a walk or something is good. And I…

Hi I'm Sharon from the UK...lots to lose but I almost have the same amount of determination to do it

Hi...I'm 10lbs in on my 112lbs to lose. I find the support here such a great help, I've tried and failed on my own so many times so I've used the boards etc and met some lovely people. I don't know what I'd do without MFP now. Good luck to you, and everyone else - we can do this!

You are all my people! My husband has bipolar and he was quite ill one time and in my upset state I got drunk and ate a whole trifle (that was for 8 people!) to myself. I was so sick and ashamed the next day, that I pretend I dropped the bowl the night before and had to throw it out. I've also eaten a whole packet of Ritz…

Lots of veggies and plenty of water work for me. I'm in my 3rd week and it's still hard but it's getting easier :) Stick veggies on the side of everything. Lots to fill you up for not a lot of calories. Good luck!

Hey David, welcome and good luck losing those lady lumps. I've found the support here really good...and some great advice too :) I've sent a friend request, and good luck to you.
-
Hey, I'm quite new too and I think the support here has been the best thing about my MFP journey so far. I've added you and hopefully we can help each other along the way :) Good luck!

I'm 36 (not quite sure how that happened, I'm pretty sure I was 25 just a couple of years ago!) I love supporting people as much as I can. I've added you (anyone else is free to add me too if they feel like some support UK style!) Good luck on your journey.

Hi, I'm 3 weeks in so still fairly new! I like to stay connected with my MFP friends and love to help and support people.....I've sent a friend request :)

Hi, I'm 8lbs down and 3 weeks in on my 112lbs too go journey. My diary is private at the moment until I get a handle on everything, but I'm fairly active here now and I like to give and receive positive motivation as often as possible! Adding new MFP friends and using the boards is something I've never done before but it's…

Hi and welcome! I'm in my third week so still relatively new, but I've learnt lots through my MFP friends. I've sent a friend request so we can help and support each other :) Good luck, Sharon

Wow, you will be kept busy! I'm Sharon and I live over here in the UK. I don't have children, but I care for my husband who has bipolar so I often don't have time to think or care for myself, but I realised I won't be able to care for anyone if I don't look after myself so while I'm doing it for me primarily, I'm also…

Hi Meiya, welcome to the group, I'm quite new too so maybe we could cheer each other on? Your post sounds exactly like me, like I could have written it! I always used to be gung-ho at the start, cutting out everything and going exercise crazy, but it'd last a month tops then I'd find it too hard and give in. Then I read a…

I have the perfect wine glass to share but can't seem to add a photo...hmm, and I call myself a modern girl lol!

Hi LeAnna - thanks for your lovely welcome! Yes, we all do have our different challenges in life, and it's good to chat to people who are going through the same journey. I don't think 52 is old at all, but these things tend to creep up on you don't they. One minute your 18 the next, ah well I agree, age is but a number :)

Hi, I'm a Glaswegian living in Oxfordshire now...it's nice to see some UK folk! Feel free to add me, it's my first day today and I'm out gathering up all the help I can get / and give! :)
