I have lost weight by lifting but I do like to combine some cardio in between rotations. It keeps my heart pumping.

Labradoodle standard sized / Border Collie mix / Mutt - probably Corgie, Lab, Golden Retriever, maybe Shar Pei (very cute)!! I love my dogs. :D

I agree. Eat what is there, treat it as one meal and watch the portions. It is more than you usually eat but as long as you are cognizant of what you are eating, keep up with exercise, etc., I don't see a problem with enjoying your family and the meal.

I just got Cooking Light for my I-Pad. It's a great tool to use and the recipes are generally pretty easy to follow. It's worth the subscription.

.5 - 1 lb has always been good for me. When I'm in high gear it can be 2 or 3 lbs. but that's not often.
