Can definitely see the difference... You go girl!

Log everything you put in your mouth, drink plenty of water, and get some king of activity that gets your heart rate up 30-60 minutes a day...also have realistic expectations...20 pounds isn't going to come off in a healthy way in a month. Good luck to you...you can do it!

Guess I'm in the minority...get home from working out and have to make dinner, walk the dogs, etc, so I usually air dry until bedtime

Totally agree...haven't really had any cravings in about 4 months, can pass up sugary/fatty treats at work where it used to be that I'd obsess about them until I ate them, and don't really have "cheat" meals...no need when I allow myself to have whatever sounds good, but in moderation.

A lovely reminder that we all can have healthy eating habits, and it will look a little different for each of us...love the print and the sentiment:smile:

^^this for me too:smile: Keep up the great work, and all the best as you whittle away at the other half of your goal!

Great job!

200 miles based on my fitbit
-
Got SO close to 200 miles in May, so I'm setting that as my goal for June...200 miles based on fitbit tracking.

Welcome and good luck as you begin your journey:smile: I can say from experience that simply being mindful of what and how much you put in your mouth, and committing to being active at least half an hour a day, and tracking both things here on Mfp...these things can REALLY help you make lifestyle changes that will stick.

While I didn't aim to cut processed sugar out, I can tell you that after 4 months of trying to cut down on processed foods in general I find that fruit satisfies my sweet tooth pretty well, and now when I do have processed sugar...candy, cupcake, etc, I don't feel like I crave more after I've eaten one serving or a partial…

Add a little cheese to hot rice...yum! Or, sauté some diced red pepper, diced mango, and minced garlic, then add cooked rice and heat together for a minute...double yum!

^this^ is exactly what I see too.

Really depends on three things...who is making the comment, how it is said, and how I'm feeling at the time. I think most people have good intentions, but may not be very good about giving compliments.

Nice work! We're the same height, with similar body types. While I'm about 10 pounds heavier than you right now, I have been down to 135 before, and felt I looked really boney...not sure what my body fat was then (20years ago), but I was much leaner than I am today, did a lot on weight machines. I've felt my best anywhere…

Had to shop for shorts and t-shirts tonight, and bought medium shirts instead of XLs. Also only bought one pair of shorts in a 12 (down from 16s) because the 10s I tried in actually buttoned...just too tight in the butt & thighs...thinking that by the time summer gets in to full swing in about a month, I'll be going back…

Do a quick internet search for barefoot contessa guacamole...very quick & easy, and super yummy!

Feel free to send me a friend request. My best advise is to do a search on the message board for "sexy pants"....part of the title of a great post that is a must read to get a good understanding of the smart way to approach weight loss. Also, be religious about watching portion sizes and logging everything that goes in…
