  • I think I broke my plateau! I've been teetering at 133-134 for months (goal 125lb in order to achieve better half marathon time). I weight 131.5 last Friday, and 130.5 this morning. :glasses:
  • My Fitness Pal is a tool. Tools don't work. You gotta put the tool to work for you. Fitness Pal is a great tool, when if used regularly and efficiently, you will get results. Whether it's losing weight, gaining weight, finding support, tracking calories, tracking nutrients, etc. Good luck!
  • So, this challenge, continues to be a challenge for me. Only lost 1/2 pound in a month. Yes, better than the other way. I think I'm on a major plateau. I'll need to step up my gear. Definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
  • You're doing awesome!! Congrats!
  • Well, this has been a challenge for me. I think maybe I'm allowing myself to eat more gluten than I should. Very frustrated with lack of weight loss. But I know it's my own doing. I really have to buckle down on my gluten intake and I hope to once again see a drop in weight. Here I go. Gotta do this!!
  • Best feeling in the world! It kicks in for me on my long, easier runs after about mile 5, so 50 minutes or so. Mile 5 through 8 are usually awesome and I feel like I can just keep going forever.
  • BTW, I signed up for a half marathon last year to shed some stubborn weight gained by hypothyroid med changes. I thought if I had a half marathon coming up, I HAD to run, which meant I would lose the weight. NOT!! I gained weight and became increasingly worried. Reached my highest weight (aside from pregnancy). Finally…
  • I'm doing my 2nd official half marathon next month, Rock n Roll Pasadena. Did my first last September. I still consider myself a novice. I learn something new everyday and I'm using a different training plan for this half marathon. My goal fir my first half was to finish standing...and I did! lol! Now I want to beat my…
  • Here we go. Let's do this! Bikini ready by June :glasses:
  • So I guess if we're setting our own goals, mine is to reach 125 lbs. I'm at 133 now.
  • I'm in!! Haven't been able to lose a pound and keep it off in months in spite of the fact that I'm training for a marathon!!  I'll keep truckin along!
  • ugh! At exactly the same weight today as I was when I started the challenge!! It is TTOM, so I have a glimmer of hope.
  • Charm Quark- you're doing a great job and a great service to us all. Thanks!! Yeah, I had noticed the "achievement" note when I really hadn't...but I certainly couldn't pull off what you're doing so I didn't stress over it!! But, I gained weight during Thanksgiving vacation!! and I haven't been sticking to my gluten…
  • Glad to find peeps like me. I've added my name to the spreadsheet. I know I'm late so hope it's OK. Thanks!!
  • I can relate!! I highly dislike Levo...been on it for a year. I've was diagnosed with hypo 8 years ago, and armor thyroid was the best for me. my new doctor switched me to levo a year ago, gained 15 lbs in 5 weeks, thinning hair, tired, chills, etc....awful!! My chiropractor told me to get checked for hashimoto...convinced…
  • I think this is a good idea. If someone is interested in being my accountability buddy, let me know.
  • Hello from Los Angeles!! I'm adding you now. 30lbs. is exactly what I had to work on after my babies. Gained 10 back after 8 years and looking to lose those now. Good luck!!
  • Awesome idea! I just started. I've done 2 days...and hurting. Tired of her voice already and last night I thought about muting her. What I love about it is it's only 20 minutes, I sweat like a pig (even after running 4 miles) and I can do this at home any time of the day or night!
