  • I've had the vertical sleeve 15 months ago and It was well worth it. I have no regrets. Once i reached my goal weight i slipped back into my old eating habits. This is my restart. I am incorporating new habits. I want to be a workout junkie.
  • As much as I don't want to admit my age, I'm still in this club. I'm just not saying aloud. feel free to add me as a friend. I'm looking to lose 100lbs. Its gonna happen because I said so and my actions are following. :-)
  • I love my Fitbit! I think i'm a junkie and I've only had it since Christmas but I've not gone more than a few hours without having it on. Now i'm exiteded because I can connect with MFP too. Great things are happening now baby!! Would love more friends. I don't know how to post the link to my fitbit to join. Just look me…
  • KnitOrMiss: How do you make the Cream Cheese Clouds? I would love to try them.
  • I need some more locarb snack ideas. I just ate shredded chicken and jello as a snack. I'm gonna search the Locarb Community Board for snack ideas.
  • After weighing in today and only losing .4 lbs., I don't want anything other than healthy stuff. It was that dang Super Bowl Sunday food.
  • I'm not full, just full of potential energy.....lol
  • I love the locarb no sugar lifestyle. I've found that eating carbs I generally retain water and crave sugar. It is definitely not a starvation or deprivation diet because I can still eat a lot of great foods without any gaining weight. I wouldn't change it for the world. I'm sold out! Locarbs for LIFE!!!
  • I love the Atkins Caramel Nut Candy Bar. It takes like it's unhealthy and I feel like I'm cheating but I'm not. I try to keep some at work and at home. They usually get me over the hump. My other go to is Sugar Free Strawberry Jello and fat free whipped cream. Yeah baby. Good eating.
  • Oh...its gonna be on. I want to be a runner. I look forward to finishing a 5k like a Boss. I'm gonna get a tramp stamp and belly ring. LOL
  • My biggest struggle is consistency. I start a good thing but then I tapper off after a while. I let the cares of others be put before my own and that gets me sidetracked. But not anymore. I've got to care for me in order to care for you.
  • Hot Yoga! Let's go sweat.
  • I LOVE SWEETS. It really doesn't matter what type of sweet and I love it. Cookies, cake, pie, candy, and even candy flavored popcorn. You name it and probably like it except for creamy stuff. I don't like to feel the texture of cream in my mouth. LOL
  • Rather than aiming for being perfect, just aim to be a little better today than you were yesterday.
  • I like to think that I'm adventurous and a DIY fanatic. I love family time and of course spending time with my girlfriends. I try to do something every year from my bucket list and so far this year, I've joined a Line Dance group. My next feat is to zip line once I get to the allowable weight. Which is one of the reasons…
  • 10/24: 259.2 10/31: 256.2 Whewhew! Down 3lbs this week. I'll take whatever I can get. Looking good and feeling great. I just pray I make it through Halloween and not eat my daughters candy. UGH.
  • I used to HATE to sweat. It was my excuse for not working hard. Now, I live for the sweat and the burn. I'm all in. No excuses!
  • "If you want it bad enough you WILL find a way!" This is so true. I want this so bad that I'm putting aside my comforts for my ultimate goals. This journey isn't just about me but what an example I can be for my kids and generations after me.
  • Awesome job! You look great. Truly inspirational. Thanks for sharing your story.
  • My goal is 15lbs by Thanksgiving! I know I can do it since i've incorporating running in my weekly exercises. This should be a great motivation for me as well as accountability. SW:259.2 CW: 259.2 GW: 245.2 Please feel free to friend me.

  • 5'7", 266.6, 41yrs. I'm a little more extreme than the rest of the ladies on this message board. I stay within 1100 cal/day and I try to workout for 30 min/day 4xwk. I have a lot more to lose and I'm looking to lose more than 1lb a week. I need to see progress. No progress, no motivation, no continution. I just know me. I…
  • Thanks for the link to Neila Rey! I'm going to try it. I don't see anything wrong HIIT and/or running as long as its beneficial to you either by fitness level or weight loss. It truly depends on your personal goals. I'm all for finding what works and working it!
  • "Awesome sauce"!!! Sometimes, we wonder if what we really want truly exists and you have proven that with perseverance and determination it can be accomplished. Thank you for your story and pics. Great job!!! You and your are both to be applauded .
  • I completely understand where you are. I too read posts for continued motivation. I love MFP and this strong community. My highest weight isn't reflected on here but I've actual lost 21lbs.
