You can try an over all weight lifting plan. Bodybuilding.com has some great plans. Doing shoulder work like overhead press and doing some chest and back work would help as well. I am a pear too. I have worked hard on upper body weight lifting and no longer feel too skinny on my upper body.

I agree that working out can do a lot. My gym has a bride boot camp right now and I am sure you could find one.

I am 46 and post menopausal. I eat less than I did in my 30s but I also have changed how i work out. I used to max out cardio (trained for marathons) now I weight train. I love barbell training-lots of squats, deadlifts, benching and OHP. I look better now than in my 30s but weight more.

Do you lift weights? My body type is pear and I have a tiny upper body. I have worked on my shoulders, chest and back and increased their size and look much more proportional all the way around. My waist looks tiny but is probably about the same size as before.

You need to eat more today. I would try to increase your protein. I would switch your 2 eggs for one whole egg and two egg whites. This will increase your protein and decrease your fat. I would likely make that more egg whites as you need more calories and protein. However, I do agree with everyone to not worry too much…

Interesting. I always lose really quickly when I start a diet. I have lost 4 lbs in 4 days. I only want to lose 10 maybe. (I am not overweight this is vanity weight). I always get frustrated as after the first week I stall so then I almost always overeat for a week or two and ditch the diet. I am going on vacation in two…

I tried on a medium tank this weekend and it was too small. I used to wear smalls and had no problems. In the gym I like my muscles but outside the gym I feel too big. I carry almost all my fat in my lower body so upper body increase is muscle.
