Your daughter was right--very inspiring!

I weigh every day, usually in the morning and evenings. I only enter my "official weight" once a week, always on Sunday mornings. For me, seeing my fluctuations on a daily basis keeps me trom getting as cranky if I happen to fluctuate up on a Sunday morning.

In your initial post you stated you are trying to GAIN a few pounds, right? Then it makes sense that your calories during the gaining period would be higher than maintenance. I don't know if MFP would still, by default, label your desired change as a negative "loss". I've never been in a position to enter a goal weight…

Just saw his breed. His coloring is so unique!

Mr. Peabody, but I like Barnaby too! He is the cutest thing every, is he a poodle?

WOWZA! You look fabulous . . . healthy and happy! So inspiring!

Thanks!

Uh oh, it seems we have a cranky QuilterinVA :-) I think you are doing great. You ARE demonstrating that you have made it a lifestyle by dealing with your gain when it's only 10 pounds and by working through your pain and exercising when and how you are able to. I wish I had caught my gain when it was just 10 pounds--to me…

I log everything (when I'm logging), but I wouldn't worry about a few bites of vegetables here and there. WW has always worked for me too. I have more weight to lose than you do, but my weight loss was also going really slow for a while. It actually picked up when I increased my calories from 1200 to 1400. I remembered WW…

Thanks! This recipe seems do-able, even for me!

I like two the best! Congratulations on your awesome accomplishment!

Thank for the ideas!

I use dancing, aerobic, ballet or modern, twist I try to be conservative when I enter my exercise so I don't overestimate the calories I burned
-
I think you must have earned some exercise calories with the freak out? Have you checked the database :-)

Thanks!

I like 3 the best and 4 second best!
-
bump - Thanks for all the great, and easy, ideas!

WOWZA!! You're an inspiration!

That's a pretty tree! I love it (even though my tree is no so pretty)!

Do you do regular breast checks? I had lost quite a bit of weight years ago and noticed mine were uneven, that prompted me to check. I found a ridge . . . which turned out to be tumor and, because I noticed the visual difference, I caught it very early.

It's really helped me stay focused and accountable. I've lost almost 50 pounds since March and my numbers have improved greatly.

Here's a calcutar that I think is very helpful: http://www.chipotlefan.com/index.php?id=nutrition_calculator I always get a salad (easy lettuce, no dressing) with pinto beans, whatever meat I feel like, salsas, and guacamole. It's around 600 calories and SO worth it. If I take it home I add my own ff sour cream and it kind…

Darn . . . at least there is still the McDonald's lowfat cone for 150 calories and and Starbuck's grande mocha coconut light for 160 calories

I'm glad that MFP tends to be on the low side. There's no way it could be accurate for everyone and I'd rather be confident that I am understating my calories, so I will still when I eat them!

Can't say that I've ever seen anything like that when I've logged in MY workout! Great job!

I've been enjoying Dannon Diabetic Friendly Vanilla yogurt with fresh berries mixed in for about 100 calories. Sometimes I add 7 grams of mini chocolate chip morsels for an extra 35 calories.

If it's just one week . . . it's probably just an odd fluctuation and hopefully you'll see an extra big loss next week. I think your menu looks pretty balanced and your water looks good. You might experiment with eating more of your calories from activitiy and avoid going under 1200 except on rare occasions. I certainly…

Yay...avocados are almost always worth the extra calories!

I've been to diabetic couseling with two different nutritionists and both recommended peanut butter, in reasonable portions, as a healthy snack. Just measure and count it!

Evidently it's my food scale. I left mine at my parents house after Sunday dinner yesterday and went out and bought a new one before fixing my salad for today's lunch!
