Drink water, drink water, drink water - and avoid baby seals. And sometimes I find pics of amazing desserts and send them to a fellow mf pal - and we share in the beauty - and then drink more water.

There are high end consignment stores in the larger communities you might check into. I'm sure they'd love to have your larger stuff and you might be able to find a few bargains for yourself. I've heard some even pay cash up front - that would help with purchasing a few items now.
