I wanted to say the fact that you are here asking for ideas and asking for help shows that you are heading in the right direction. You know you want more, you know you want to be out of that toxic situation, so good for you! Now stay moving in that direction. Start with one small thing -- like how you can keep this job.…

What an inspiration you are! You look beautiful with the weight loss, yes, but even more so? Your face glows like you are *so happy*. It shows!!!!

My Zumba instructor lost 80 pounds in just over a year -- all she did was Zumba every day and cut out snacking between meals. She looks amazing. I need to get her over here so she can post before/after pictures!

Hourglass -- 36 bust, 28 waist, 37 hips (but 40 at largest part of my bum, lol). I've always loved this shape. I'd like the hips to go down a bit though!

8 - you have such a nice smile

Swykes -- I would have guessed in the 30s too!!!

Mine is open because I find sometimes thinking about my MFP friends reading my diary at the end of the night gives me the little push I need to skip that snack late at night when I am at goal for the day. Being accountable to myself should be most important, but let's be honest, if we have weight to lose, we aren't doing a…

wow -- what a great visual!!! It's one thing to read the numbers, but it's a completely different thing to SEE the sugar!

The one good thing about having a myriad of replies is that it is easy to weed through and, by looking at their responses, choose people to send friend requests to. If you are someone that needs gentle pats on the back, look for those answers and send those people a friend request. If wit and sarcasm make you laugh and you…

My first day at the new gym -- I got tangled up in the headphones cord from my iphone, it fell down to the treadmill, I stepped on it just the right way, and went flying across the room. I couldn't do it again if I TRIED. But this is my life. Full of grace. lol I have other talents.

I think part of this experience is to learn that sometimes we will have weddings, holidays, birthdays, etc., and that we can eat more on those days and then be better following that. It's not just that one day that was the battle -- it's the overall war that we are fighting with overeating, not exercising enough, etc.…

Absolutely! I'm sending a request now! I'm one that battles with a sugar addiction -- I'm constantly trying to snack on sweets but trying to stay motivated to eat better. I'd love to support you along the way!

Yay!!!!! Congratulations! I love those little things that make you realize all the hard work is paying off!

Thanks -- a big one for me is sugar cereal. I'm starting the morning off horribly, and I notice that the more I have sugar, the more I crave it during the rest of the day.

It just depends on your normal circadian rhythm. If you sleep easily, I.e. your head hits the pillow and you are out within minutes, getting your heartrate up before bed should not be an issue. However, if you have any sleep disturbance issues, getting your heartrate up can really interrupt not only the ability to fall…

Thank you! This is very helpful!

Eep. I was wearing my running shoes

Thanks all! I just got back from the gym -- 30 minutes of elliptical, and so far absolutely no stiff, throbbing knees. I am going to do this and alternate with cycling . . . and in a few weeks when I've strengthened my legs just a bit, I'll try some different shoes at Zumba.
